Yess you recognize Yeosang in deja vu mv!! good job and you are saying his name correctly. And the one that you liked in the deja vu dance practice and guerilla is seonghwa ! he is our genderless king (and my bias ). He is in the demon line for a reason and i never can catch a breath because of him. This man is truly a menace but i love him for that

Thank you for reacting to Ateez again :) Maybe you should react to a Guerrilla stage so you'd be able to see their facial expressions way better cause they're one of the most expressive groups out there.
The one grabbing your attention with his facial expressions was Seonghwa (the eldest member). He's also one of 3 members of the fan-named "demon line" known for their intense facial expressions along with Hongjoong and San. I HIGHLY recommend watching some facecams or fancams. Everyone in this group is incredible.
As a Seonghwa bias, this was very entertaining to watch 😂 Yes, he does that - grab your attention and doesn't let go. Wait till you check out their live stages!
The guy you mentioned that caught your attention in both dance practices is Seonghwa (I know many have told you this but I had to mention it too), he is my bias and it is an AMAZING performance to say the least He is well known for his amazing facial expressions and his steps, really amazing.
Thank you for the reaction ❤ I didn't see anyone talking about this, so the ending song of guerilla is halazia. The same way turbulence is the ending of deja vu.
@GingerT4U2 The way they connect songs for lore just makes the list grow lol If you want a few more connected ones, from memory, I remember: thanxx > fireworks, fireworks > the real, answer > sector 1, bouncy > crazy form Unfortunately, I don't remember the one that leads to answer rn 😕 but say my name / hala hala are definitely directly connected to answer 🤔
Ateez are so great at story telling. I love all their videos, and the choreography really emphasizes the song. I think you might be adding Seonghwa to your bias line of Yeosang. Those two are so smooth in their dancing. And so pretty. Yeah. You got the story of Guerilla spot on. And pretty much the duality of Deja Vu. Deja Vu actually has a dance video with them in vampire costumes. I like that one, because Seonghwa in a corset? perfection.
thank you for reacting to more ateez, I really enjoy your input!! I highly recommend their killing voice as it shows small snippets of their discography & shines in showing their incredible vocals. they were what made me fall in love with kpop and I haven’t been the same since😂
The guy with the longish black hair that caught ur attention in the deja vu (and guerilla but he has an undercut there) dp is Seonghwa ,and the one with the butterfly on his hand in the mv (and is wearing a bucket hat and sleeveless shirt in Guerilla dp) is yeosang.
Yes that’s him, that’s Yeosang, that’s our doberman (in the dance practice you picked out Seonghwa)- the answer to “what happened” in Deja Vu is incredibly complicated, Ateez has a very complicated storyline, which you see the other dimension in Guerrilla (like guerrilla warfare) to just like.. scratch the surface. The ending scene of Deja Vu is also in the other dimension, but it’s a song preview for Turbulence.
The first the person who caught your eye was Yeosang (06/15/1999), he's a vocalist, performer and the assigned visual of Ateez(though we think every member is a visual). Before he was in KQ he was a trainee at bighit, when he left bighit ent, he had six companies fighting for him. Back then he also met Wooyoung(see 2:45 for reference) and Wooyoung had followed him to KQ ent. Telling him "If we fail together we succeed together" or something along those lines. Yeosang is described as very nice and innocent by the rest of the members. He often gets shorter lines in earlier Ateez songs, unlike with Halazia and Ice on my teeth... Yeosang didn't have much lines prior to that. To answer your description: Yeosang is center for the DEJA VU dance practice 11:22, 11:41, 13:12 (He's on the right of hongjoong), 13:35, 13:51(other than that he was pretty much shoved to the back) It's harder for me to tell for Guerillas. Okay, the one of who caught your attention in this video is Seonghwa (04/03/1998), he's a vocalist, performer, rapper(Check Bouncy and Matz for Rapper Hwa), and another assigned visual, and the eldest member of Ateez often called "Mother" by fans, his name means to be a star. He used to be apart of a dance team while in high school. He and Hongjoong (the rapper with orange hair in deja vu and Oreo hair in Guerillas) form what's called "MATZ" which is short for madhyungs or eldests. Hongjoong is the Captain of Ateez and Seonghwa is often called the first mate. Hongjoong was the indirect motivation for Seonghwa to continue being an Idol when he was ready to give up being a trainee Ateez is a story that makes you think they were meant to be.
5:26 OMG!!!! Same for me. Never got into rap from North America or Europe for the same reasons you say but when it comes to K-POP rapping, they knowns how to perfectly blend their rap verse into their songs. Also their rap verse are not trashy like the in the west. Mingi's rap in Wonderland blows my mind. Guerrilla live performance is Out Of This World. I personally love KPOP, JPOP, CPOP and TaiwanPOP (I'm not into Thailand pop) I still have so much more to explore. Thank you for reacting to ATEEZ. They are so special to me.
Alright going to update this comment as I watch 🤣 yes the still frame was Yeosang in deja vu ❤ love him his visuals are stunning in this! You also done really well working out the lore behind the video for guerilla. It's called guerilla because they are fighting against the regime of the dystopian world. You will notice that some scenes in the mv are based on a movie poster for Fritz Lang - Metropolis and a piece of art work called liberty leading the people. The lore is heavy in this mv.

They sing & rap in Japanese & English but promote like kpop with Korean versions of their songs so they are a bit of a hybrid. If you want to check out some tpop, I recommend Liar by Bus & Trap U by Dice.
guerrilla (not to be confused with gorilla 🦍) is defined as “a member of a small independent group taking part in irregular fighting, typically against larger regular forces.” so ateez is saying that they are freedom fighters, rising up against the oppressive government in world Z.
I get where you're coming from with Western Rap. Personally, i adore rap music, i grew up with a hip hop loving mom and im from a Caribbean African Family so rap was played constantly around us. There are a lot of old and new rap artists that can seem aggressive or sound aggressive, as a way to fit that "tough" persona. Take Eminem and Nicki for example, they were the standard of rap for a decades, but it seems to have had a Rift as of 2024. I even got back into Rap due to Kendrick Lamar and have been looking back on artist like Tupac. But my fave rapper since like 2015 was NF, his rap style is quite aggressive but his messages are Amazing. Then i got into Kpop in 2019 and i added a lot of groups / soloist to my playlist. The way they play with their tones and flows, while still being poetic (without the need for cursing and so on, mostly) is so amazing. Not that i dont mind a bit of profanity in my songs, but after a while i can get boring lol.
@ureignhere very true. When I see some of the western stuff and its about sex, drugs, demons etc then I'm like...really? What are we teaching? And females are 90-95% naked. I can't. Then u get kpop where even though u don't understand and have to read subtitles, the message is clear, it's positive. The fact that a lot of kpop goes around loving yourself, each other, respecting yourself and each other etc gives me all the feels. They sing and rap about positive things.
