I agree with Ocho. Odell is a number 2 receiver at worst. It's just that GMs and coaches are afraid to give him the money because of the injuries he's had. But if you look at what he did with the Rams before his last injury, he kept getting better and better and better. He scored the first touchdown in that Superbowl, and if he hadn't been hurt he might have got Superbowl MVP. And the Ravens are philosophically a defensive team. If OBJ had been used more in that last shitty game the Ravens lost, they would have had a chance against the Chiefs.
What difference does it make if he's the third in Miami? Some team with worse receivers than the Fish should have taken him as a second receiver.
And Ocho is probably wrong about OBJ being a top 20 receiver (though he might be if given a chance this year). Having said that, you've got 32 NFL teams, each with a first and second receiver. That makes 64 top receivers. Is Shannon telling us that Odell is not better than at least 10 or 20 of those guys? Gimme a break!

OBJ is a significant upgrade over any WR3 Miami has had since waddle/Hill/Tua have played together. He will get some favorable matchups and opportunities, especially considering Jonnu Smith and that dangerous backfield Miami has. Something happens to Hill/Waddle, he is an experienced boundary receiver who can step in .So the move def improves the team.
Sharpe is right tho, there are not enough targets to go around for OBJ to put up big numbers ( def not 1K yards) but that’s not why he is there. He is there to add weapons and make the TEAM better so the TEAM can win more games.

Firstly Unc gotta let Ocho talk. Secondly, OBJ was the second leading receiver with the Ravens. In receptions him and the young WR were behind the Ravens TE. So that should let you know what the Ravens offense does. Now let's jump to his injuries...Yes he has been injured but his ACL injury nvr healed correctly and he stated that he continued to play on it before leaving Cleveland and in LA. Also, in LA the Rams said it themselves that they don't know how he put up the numbers and played the way he did on one knee. To give you a example of how the Dolphins offense will play into OBJ's favor....remember everyone focused in on Cooper Kupp and on the opposite side OBJ was lighting them up. In the SB he was also on pace for 200yds in the game and SB MVP Lol! Now we not saying he "IS" or "HAS" to be the OBJ from the Giants. But all is being said is show him some respect bc putting your 3rd best CB on him is going to cost you big time, when you realize that OBJ is just listed as a #3 on paper.

Tyreek is gonna get all coverage rolled to his side and some 2v1s then they have to account for waddle too. Odell is in a PERFECT situation to eat when he gets his targets. He aint gonna get 1k but i can see 500-750 and thats not bad. People need to let go of what odell used to be and just appreciate him and what he brings to a team at this moment in his career
