- A fan remake of the campaign mission from Halo: CE "343 Guilty Spark", now on Halo: Reach MCC.
Had lots of fun on this one, numerous clips and attempts at getting back to the pelican xD
We finally got it.

Dudeee this map looks almost identical to the real mission
Man if only reach forge would let us change colors to our maps they would truly shine... and maybe also patch out that flashy effect while their at it.

Seeing stuff like this makes me wonder why we never see it in matchmaking. Invasion is still just on spire, boneyard and a few forge maps its never on the citadel which is absolutely amazing
Invasion to me is one of the best gamemodes in Reach, and I love making maps along side them. I've been working on quite a few and I hope to soon make them public

Because as cool as it is to play in a nostalgia fest level, it's not balanced and at all and would suck in matchmaking.
It's cool, don't get me wrong. But it would get old fast because it's not really designed, it's just a trip down memory lane
@@darkrain491 so thats the thing, personally id love to have all these maps in matchmaking. you have your standard, balanced, even matches on spire, boneyard, floodgate etc and then you have the bat shit epic campain remakes. OR just split it into invasion and invasion fiesta
Because 343 doesn't want to add new maps to the rotation.
Now all that's left is for someone to recreate the library as an infection map,that's going to be painful to get through.

That'd be so fucking rad with the soon to be updated max player counts on servers. Imagine 60 person infection as the zombies slowly wittle down to the last group and swarm them. Just wish MCC had good server connection, I get booted from 19 out of every 20 games I join, it sucks...
Wish the custom browser has more things like this instead of “aSsAsINaTiOn oNly” lobbies

It’s always cool to see custom games recreate moments from the campaign.
As the ODST have been abondened for safety of stoping the spread the Flood dangerous parasite. They must fight their way out, and prove themself safe from the Flood infection. Abondoned not for betrayel and dissapointment. But for the protection of mankind and the rapid growth of the flood. This is makeyl out!
This needs to be an official infection map on the social games playlist, the fact that the creator actually put time into creating the swamp makes this 1000x better

Yep that's the only issue with the map+gamemode combo that is currently circulating on the CGB. I wonder what the map creator intended for the last part to do
@@Okom1 I think it’s triggered when the safe haven disappears after 30 seconds, should just reverse it, move it to the last 30 seconds instead of before
@@Green-IV If you mean to move it to the last 30 sec of the game timer, that wouldn't work since the 30 sec hill timer has to be started by a player and that could be any time so it won't ever be exactly 30 seconds before the game timer is 30 sec away from ending.
The first server I played the gamemode on had the timer stop around 10 sec before the hill timer could expire even if you got to the hill the fastest way possible so that kind of solved the "hill moved" issue. But then again, might aswell not even have the hill in there to begin with since it seems to serve no purpose.

Halo really needs to add in a way for community maps to be played on social matchmaking and invasion. Like how they cycle in Griffball or Shotty Snipers at least
That’s what the Custom Game Browser is for and it’s such a breath of fresh air for the game

Played a mode called Cursed Halo Reach and it was absolutely COOKIN, but now I simply cannot find a trace of its existence:(
wish MCC had a recent games list like the original titles did, would help immensely

Slightly unrelated but I always thought that there should be an option to disable certain weapon pickups for humans. That way, the infected have a sort of unique weapon to them while humans can pick up weapons that aren't an energy sword or whatever else the infected are holding.

@@NorseNovaYT If you go to Halo MCC, in the menu, go to your name on right side where the roster is, select your player name, go to "find player" or "search player", type in A1ex W, and youll see all the stuff youll need
Any idea how I can save this map and game type without having to stumble onto it in the wild of the MCC browser? Any way to search it up or something?
The map maker is A1ex W on Xbox Live. I have the map right now, but for some reason the map looks completely broken
@@jehbus Could you elaborate on what you mean by broken? Would absolutely love to check this out myself
@@JuiceboxCE Like, a majority of the forge pieces are completely gone, can see straight through the map (what the map maker had made, not forge world itself). The elevator room is a good example, I could see the hangar in the side of the mountain as soon as I enter the elevator room itself. If I could post pictures here I would.
I will say though, I had downloaded the map through Xbox. It may be in a complete state for PC players, but I think it would look broken regardless of platform.
If you're on Xbox, play the game in customs game browser, quit, start forge on forge world and it should be the first map and game type to appear before you load into forge mode.

How to play/found this map in mcc?
there are new variations of this map played from time to time on CGB but its not used as much
I have searched A1ex W and downloaded the only version of this on his file share, however it appears to be an almost finished, albeit incomplete version of the map. Is there another fileshare that has the finished map?
some of the forge pieces reappear on a timer presumably for optimisation, so if you get to an area early it might look unfinished - and the version in the video just has a couple lighting effects/a filter added which you can probably easily forge in yourself without breaking the map
the only thing this needs would be fog

Why were some of the players still enemies on your screen despite them not being infected?
Glitch when a person joins a game-in-session, that’s why you’ll join and have people start shooting at you and you just feel like you’re being bullied
