I agree. The British state is having to mothball older ships, which were about to be refitted, because they don’t have people to crew them. The aircraft carriers you mention are at present lying alongside port in single file, both being repaired again, the army recruitment is at an all time low, the coastline of the UK appears to be largely undefended, especially our bases, and worryingly I was sent a media item from an American talk show, where the anchor lady was interviewing a well spoken Scotsman, who was relating a worrying story about the British Government. He stated, amongst other things, that the Government is planning to create adventure (I don’t know what you’d call them) camps (as he put it, like the youth camps in Germany before WW2) for 17 year olds which would train them to handle weapons and on fitness, and they would be supplied with uniforms, and issued with a service number? It would appear to have all the attributes of a fun filled adventure. However, there would be a darker side to this. Should a war begin, these young people who would then have service numbers, effectively making them Territorial Army Reserves, would be called up"! I most likely have not described what I was hearing well enough, but that was the jist of it! Now I know that there is a lot of conspiracy videos out there at the minute, but this one had me questioning the Tory Government, and its move towards fascism, reducing our civil rights without consulting the people, bringing in draconian laws, and making the country a laughing stock! The sooner Scotland becomes a neutral Independent country the better!

If you can't see how fearful the _other kingdom_ is in "losing" Scotland, you are *fast asleep.* That place will be insignificant and forced to live within its means, it will be a nothing, off the UNSC and so on, because we subsidise it to an incredible extent.

Northern Ireland doesn't get a vote every 7 years. 7 years is the minimum amount of time required between another border poll being called. A poll can only be called by the Secretary of State which means there can be 7, 10, 20, or 50+ years between polls.
