The crossed out Black Chess Piece is specifically a Queen. Probably meant to suggest that Kinger was their with his Wife or Girlfriend before She Abstracted.
This deadass is not even close to anything Disney would make. Maybe if we take away no existential dread and literally the ENTIRE show premise and we kept the character designs and made the plot into something entirely different to match that of a kid show then this would be a valid reply
Considering that it is an indie animation on TH-cam free to watch, it's pretty damn high quality. And we have only seen the pilot, which is usually always just an intro to the world and characters kind of thing.
