Here's a game I like to call: Hades's Arc from every KH game he appears in. KHBBS: Bet on the wrong horse and return to mock more only to lose to a chick. KH1: Get the kid to be allowed to "play" the games and get unexpectedly kicked in the but and lose. KHCoded: Held your own "Maze Runner" story by using another person's maze. KH2: Time to take it to the next level with the deadly games by rigging it, only for it to be unrigged to play fair. KH3: Finally! Something that's from the original movie. We know the answer by now, Hades loses and goes home.
James Woods is amazing as Hades, he nails it every time. If I ever get the chance to make a movie of my own, I would DEFINITELY hire James Woods on the spot ^^

When Hades asks for Terra’s name, he says “kinda earthy”. A little conflicting don’t you think? Hades (a Greek god) knows what the word “Terra” (a Latin word for earth or ground) means. Given how the Romans (who’s native language was primarily Latin) based a lot of their culture off of Greece, I would not be surprised.
I still love James Woods as Hades to this very day. Hades in the Hercules movie technically didn't die since he is the god of the underworld. Can't wait for him in Kingdom hearts 4. If he does show up that is.

Kind of inconsistent when it comes to the facial animations in the earlier games. There are times when he's super expressive but other times when it's more like a generic model. Love the little injections of Greek-ness like "Hold your chariot horses", "Plan Beta", "you're too kind" when being called a "lowlife" when he's the lord of the UNDERworld, etc. all without feeling cringy or tacked on.

I know Hades is a popular Disney villain, but honestly, I think Bill Cipher is a funnier and more dangerous villain. Also, Hades is more annoying in this game. Personally, I have always preferred the original version of Hades from Greek mythology, where he wasn't evil, just morally ambiguous. Still, I understand why some people Like Disney Hades. I just find him a little overrated.
I agree. I don't really understand why people say that Disney's Hades is such a great villain, they only seem to like him because he's funny. Don't get me wrong, I do like some comedic villains like Joker and Spectacular Spiderman's version of Green Goblin. The key difference though is that those 2 villains are incredibly cunning and dangerous in addition to being comedic. Hades honestly never felt that threatening to me at all. As for as Disney villains go, I like Scar, Jafar, and Frollo much more than Hades. Those three felt much more intimidating and were overall more successful in their films.
Captain Hook was also intimidating, but also comedic. While I prefer the original version of Hook from the book, the Disney version was still a fun villain, but he knew when to be menacing. Arguably more menacing than Hades. Ratigan is another great villain who is sadly overlooked. He was cunning devious and became very menacing near the end of the film. However, he was also comedic at time. I think he is funnier than Hades.
@@tayojones9460 I mostly just found Hades amusing because he was a more dynamic speaker compare to the rest of the cast. Not to mention he made some fine points about controlling one's Darkness that would have changed the whole story if they were followed.

It's like choosing between Thor: Dark World and Thor: Ragnarak---I'm gonna always choose Ragnarak because, yes, it's silly and dumb, but it's entertaining BECAUSE it doesn't take itself so seriously.
