I'm a proud owner of one of these beauties. I overpaid, 'cause they were getting to be a rare find, and I wanted it so bad. But it's become my main electric. That Tremar trem is pure butter, and how cool is that logo on it! What a great idea to use a roller bridge! The switching is a bit annoying, but pretty much each position sounds good, and I just use the ones that are quiet. It's in the LP territory, weight-wise, but the longer scale makes the playing feel more strat-y.
PGS should start listing the songs played in these demos in the information section. A lot of times, Andy plays really cool songs, but I have no idea what they are and have to hope that other people will mention them in the comments. It was Andy playing "Scumbag Blues" in some earlier demo that that turned me on to Them Crooked Vultures, which is now one of my favorite bands. So help us out PGS!
Are there any pedals (eg overdrive/ distortion) before the amp in this video? Never used these sort of P90s before, just wanted to know how much of a difference they make in terms of higher gain? Any help is appreciated..
Damn it Andy....I want this guitar and it is ALL your fault!!!!! Thanks...now my wife will definetly be leaving me over this one.....Need a room mate????? hahahahaha
@DeltyBoy not very good. buy a good humbucker. bare knuckle pick ups have some amazing high gain pups out and if you want a cleaner sound like a p90 or a single coil, install a coil tap to split the humbucker.

This is some of Andy's best playing to date.
Ohh man that's a beautiful thing. I saw this guitar and fell in love. TY for a good demo! Great skills also.
Wonderful finger style , as always Andy ! And great demo, as we can ear lot of various tones coming out of this beauty. Thanks a lot.
My ear is crying of happiness ..
This is real ... I want to wake up and see with my own eyes!
Thank you for showcasing such a versatile instrument!
:O This is realllllly cool. its really clear too
I like the mix between its old school and modern time guitar
I was literally just thinking about buying one of these, wondering:
"I wonder if PGS will demo it soon?"
Thanks Andy!
This thing looks and sounds amazing...wow.
Nevermind. Awesome guitar.

you definately made me think about this guitar...
Hey Andy! Any new amp. demos coming our way? I am itching to see some :]
@RobbyWheelerGuitar
You make a good point. Thank you for the demonstration.
I don't get what the rotary switch does, is it neck, neck-middle, middle, middle-bridge, bridge and bridge-neck?
Please do a Hagstrom Super Swede!
Can you demo the hagstrom viking rex-tone please?
Hey Andy, have you every played an Hoyer guitars, and if you have, what's your take on them?
Andy, you always do the best demo's. That Hagstrom sounds pretty cool. How does the neck feel and what is the radius of the neck?
What song was played at the beginning?
@odgeUK In what time you recognized the song?
cool guitar :P
where could i get just those chrome p90 covers? :O
Whats the intro song?
so what is the neck like?Is it super thin?
What would you compare it to?

What's the last song Andy plays?
Wish we could see the white one. That's the one for me.
Demo the new baritone Viking please. :)
@CCRockit not sure if that's a bad thing =)
@Finom1 It's called dirt with tone roll-off. You're going to write off the sound of a pickup from one of the tones demonstrated?
Don't like the pickup selector thing, but every thing else looks wonderful
I can't tell if the axe sounds Hendrix-ish, or if it's just Andy. He makes it sound great, but I think the guitar's a bit muddy for my taste.
does andy grow out his nails to play that way?
Damn it Andy....I want this guitar and it is ALL your fault!!!!! Thanks...now my wife will definetly be leaving me over this one.....Need a room mate????? hahahahaha
"Monkeyman" for the win!
Andy's piking style reminds me of Lindsay Buckingham
Lost me with the "Resinator" fingerboard. Only wood for me personally. Guitar looks and sounds great though.
reminds me of that scene of goodfellas
I recognise the Stone Temple pilots song but can't figure out which one it is
I feel the GAS...
This guitar is made in Korea or USA?
Andy Smear ;-)
tasty
stone temple pilots!
fuck yeah
@hernanjaviergreco pesimo comentario. sube tus videos a ver como tocas tu?
viking
@longwhip
find a wife that likes guitars:p
It looks like a gretsch with P90s.
lastima que sea de madera el que toca por que no lo ponen a friedman

This is the worst P90's I have ever heard.
Do you like the sound of mud at the open?
