There is actually a lot of vegetarian in Taiwan and many restaurant serve veggie meals.
You can even order plant base food that taste like meat. (Note: the price tends to cost 20-40% more due to the additional prep time it cost to make them)

I wanna say that Taipei is one of the top 10 vegan friendly cities rated by CNN.
There are 13% of the the Taiwan population are vegetarians(about 3.3 million), which make Taiwan have second largest vegetarians population of worldwide countries.
Taiwan is also the country with the highest density of vegetarian restaurants, I know there is a map of it, but I'm not sure if it has an English version.
By the way, the plant-based meat is also popular in Taiwan. Basically, becuse of the high tech they have, Taiwanese companies occupy a dominant position in the development of such meat substitutes.
Then of course, having open mind to respect others, that is Taiwanese universal value, that's why Taiwan is the first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage, that's why Taiwan is a cultural meeting place fusion all shapes of the cultures.
And I could promise that, there is absolutely uncountable weird foods to be discovered in Taiwan, not only those culture shock foods, Taiwanese often makes strange foods such as Oreo pizza or resently giant isopod ramen. 😂

10:36 The stall don’t seals frog eggs but drinks with black sugar jelly. The frog image is used in their sign because the jelly seems like frog eggs (But nothing of frogs is used in the drink). By the way, frog meat really taste delicious in my opinion, it’s just like the combination of beef and chicken. Frog is used in some area around China and Southeast Asia for plenty kinds of cuisine. I understand why some people couldn’t accept it for the stereotype of frog. I won’t recommend you guys to try it. We all have our own preferences.

Im from NE I’m not into consuming reptile and exotic strange meats but trust me if you explore NE region you’ll come to learn alot about foods people here enjoy. But don’t generalise it not everyone here consume what you’ll see. it’s just a part of local delicacy.

Frog legs are eaten by some people in Kerala too but only one kind of frog, not all. It is also not available in markets. My friend Jacob Kurien used to say it tastes like chicken.

Many tribals from different corners of India eats frog’s meets. As per some people it’s tested like chicken. Octopus, crabs etc are also eaten in some parts of India also.

You seem to be dumbfunded about the sign they use on their food stand. We Taiwanese use pig blood to cook one of our local delicacy, just like Scottish's haggis and French blood sausage. You don't say they eat animal blood, just because it is an ingredient used. I don't say Italian eating raw egg because of eating Tiramisu, right? We respect different culture, just like we don't judge or despise how Indian people eat food with bare hands or some SE Asians still eat bugs or insects. The food stand with frog picture is selling a kind of drink that is completely nonrelated to frog meat at all. It is a kind of drink with mini size tapioga. Traveling is supposed to make you more insightful about a strange land. I believe local Taiwanese people are more than happy to help you learn more about local cuisines. You might even got treated with free food.
