This is normally a video that would go up on the main channel, but I've got so many gameplay vids lined up there so I thought it would be an oversaturation of content. Opted for a double upload on the VOD channel instead of the main!

I love that with this game we're really getting to learn the artists and get can even spot their work quickly. Super dope!
Martyr is Phyla-Vell, the daughter of Mar-Vell the original Captain Marvel. She's part of the alien race the Kree. She had control of the Quantum Bands and was Quasar at one point, she was a member of the comic Guardians of the Galaxy when they got the reboot that the movies are based on. She's basically an energy sponge that has an enhanced physique (speed, strength, endurance, etc) and fires energy blasts. She has a sword that's still connected to the Quantum Bands.

instead of doing double uploads on the main channel I think I should just stick to 1xDay over there and do doubles over here if I've got extra content!
personally love how often they add new locations, at times i don’t even get to play them due to irl stuff and one day it pops up without it being featured/hot and feels nice to see something new
as long as it’s not super restrictive then i’m all for it changing up each match, even if you get perfect draw you might lose to not benefiting from locations as much as opponent and i don’t mind that

fun fact: Martyr is the comics version of the white haired little kid that is in the new Guardians squad. She's pretty powerful in the comics.
The lukewarm reception to Mirage is interesting, she seems very good to me. For one thing, now that Chavez is stuck on the bottom of the deck, she seems a bit like Cable-but-better.

Phoenix force could be pretty crazy on a move deck giving cards that gain power on move the ability to move on their own, though in this case you likely need to ramp it out early.
And you'd need a move/destroy hybrid
Legion - there is a multitude of Minus X locations. Drop Cage ....then legion..they all turn into -1, -2 or -3. add a hazmat into the mix and whammo
brain melted after looking at those new variants, now we became credit card using machines that just buy all the variants
I think a cool ability for Loki would be something along the lines of “ copy a card in your opponents hand, disguised as Loki until end of game” or something similar
That juggernaut variant reminds me of a panel with the kingpin in the ultimate spiderman.

Jean would be great in a Surfer deck. Drop one Brood on turn 4 and you can ignore the location. Legion is good for getting into locations that you can't normally get into.
Echo / Ghost / Daredevil is going to be a pretty nasty combo to stop all those Ongoing nasties. Jean in a Sandman-ramp would also be pretty horrendous for the opponents
in the mirage case, on the off chance your opponents hand were all big cards, you can end up withsomething good
So jean is basically 'Morag at home' it'll probably be a very common deck if it's a 3 cost. Feels like another sand man type. Maybe more enchantress will be seen now.
I also would like to know how Jean Grey would work if the card was copied to 2 locations. I guess it would kinda defeat the purpose of the card but good for control.
Imagine a human torch that fuses with phoenix and now you got a 6 that doubles when it moves and if you turn 4 it that means an easy turn 6 24 power torch
Jean Grey is going to mess with Galactus decks so hard, I can't wait.

Echo only affects enemies according to the text, this makes her a LOT more better

One thing I see about mirage that would be good is if you have a discard deck and you’re going up against someone that has a Discord deck or destroy against destroy

...and I keep opening caches hoping for Patriot but it looks like I'll get High Evolutionary first to be able to play the vanilla cards. :P
Legion on fogwell's gym 8x boosters
does gym work like that? I got a mirror to hit the gym once, but didn't keep track of boosters unfortunately!

If Phoenix force combined with the card and stayed Phoenix force it wouldnt make sense as then what's the point of the ressurection wording. Otherwise it would have been worded merge with a destroyed cards power or something
If Loki releases the way he is you could just play him and Modoc discard your entire hand and then take your opponent hand and and they get nothing
The mirage is a cable but better. I will try a dino deck with her
All these beautiful cards and and matchmaking will still match me up to Galactus unless i have 6 Galactus then i get to play against modok

Can anyone here please help clarify the new ranking when you reach infinite? Is it true that you can't go below infinite once you are there?
Yea, cant go under infinite, and you will only face other people who is also infinite. So people might play less serious above 100 than under.
what if legion on nexus? does that equal infinite power?

They gotta lower the price of ultimate variants because I doubt many people have one
Loki should stay 0-0 but work like Mysterio but for another card. Imagine that you drop Thor and a Fake Thor reveals at the same time, but your opponent do not know which Loki Thor is the real one, and it’s just disguised Loki.

The loki card is toxic. If they made it so it’s only for 1 turn then i think it’ll be okay.

Cool cards. I get it, I love the creator content for this game, but NOTHING will ever "shake up the game" until the devs actually open it up. They've got it rigged to where you never win more than about half of the time. It's all about how many cubes you gamble in the games where you win. So we buy cards and if they're too good they get "fixed" so it's back to no more than a 53 percent win rate.
