Let’s be honest Purdue was inconsistent towards the end of the season, Matt painter was simple out coached, Murray state a mid major wasn’t ready for the spot light but the Kentucky game was a upset, their run will come to a end in the elite 8 Tar Heels saint Pete will be over matched!
The person on Saint Peter's that is the breakout is the coach. His story, from being the elite player who got injured at March Madness, to staying true to the community as he educated himself and his players, is refreshing in this day and age. I doubt he'll leave the program but this run allows recruiting to go much differently. There's a lot of NYC talent so to have a college that is relatively local make an impact on March Madness (Seton Hall and Rutgers sometimes get in but this is different level) is a huge deal.
He will be head coach at Seton Hall as soon as St Peter’s season is over. His salary at St Peter’s is $109,000 per year. Top tier basketball programs pay at least 2 million. St Pete’s can’t afford him anymore. He’s got to consider is family and coaching in general is a vagabond line of work…he’s got to take the opportunities as they come as there is no guarantee they will come again.

You are right about thing - it all depends on Caleb Love of UNC. He had 3 points in the first half against UCLA, and he had 27 points in the second half. UNC wins. If the same thing happens against St. Peters, who I am rooting for, it’s going be a tough day for St. Peters.

College sports were one of the last places a person could go and watch a good product without social justice virtue signalers overrunning the place.
