One question - would you prioritise W for first strike proc over farming early? Like if enemy laner is next to the wave and some of the creeps are low, should I W the wave to get the creeps or W the champ?
First strike gold is 15 while casters give 14 and melee gives 21, you should prioritize wave most times. That"s what I have been doing more in recent games and I am having more success because better wave control means less chance they can trade with you etc

It is sad to see that what you got from the highlights I showed were just about kills and procs on first strike without the actual meaning of why those things were shown. The showing of how to proc first strike is a simple footage show how you should be playing laning phase where you perma proc first strike in Lane to keep farming gold. The build you recommend for mid lane is very inefficient. Dark harvest is better for jungling because of the nature of that role where you show up to a lane to gank and get a kill or atleast bring the enemy hp low. You are able to farm dark harvest procs because of this. The reason for first strike in mid Lane is to just farm gold till you are at the point where you can kill your opponent and the way how most matchups go you will be able to get this done after level 6 based on matchups, sums, items, etc. You don't need to take dmg runes to get this done once you are playing the game correctly and actually thinking about how you end up getting kills. If you want to do more dmg then the better keystone to take would be aery because that would actually give the most early dmg out of any of the runes. I stop using this tree because first strike right now is very strong if you can farm it consistently in the early game and morgana is one the best champs at doing so.
