Mu chords were chords commonly used by Steely Dan. Some people say they invented them, but Roy ares and a few other soul artists were using them way before. Essentially means adding a major second into the chord.
Mu chord. Steely Dan coined the term. Think major triad, add 2, over the third: G2/B. Easy to get the 4ths sounds Sound with the spelling (low to high) B, A, D, G
