আমি একজন স্টুডেন্ট আজ আমার বক্তব্য সরকারি আধিকারিকদের এই মাসে আমায় ট্রাফিক পুলিশ একবার 500 টাকা ও পরে একদিন হাজার টাকা ফাইন করে কিন্তু প্রথম দিন সিগনাল ব্রেক করেছিলাম জন্য হয়েছিল কিন্তু সেটা সিগনাল ব্রেক নয় একটু এগিয়ে গেছিলাম আসলে শীতের কুয়াশার রাতে হেলমেট এর কাচ নামানোর জন্য খেয়াল করি নি এটা আমার ভুল । তবে তার সপ্তাহ খানিক পরে একটা ব্রিজের নিচে কোনো ট্রাফিক পয়েন্টে ছাড়াই গাড়ি ধরে নিলো পিলিয়নের মাথায় হেলমেট ছিলো না জন্য আমায় কেস দেওয়া হলো 1000 takar স্পটে 500 টাকা বেআইনি ভাবে চেয়েছিলেন অফিসার কিন্তু আমার কাছে ছিলো না থাকলে হয়তো দিয়ে দিতাম 500 টাকা বাঁচতো কিন্তু আমি ভাবছি তাদের কথা সবার পক্ষে কি দেওয়া সম্ভব 1000 টাকা ? যিনি সারাদিন রোজগার করে দিন শেষে নিজের ফ্যামিলি নিয়ে আনন্দে সময় কাটাবে বা ছেলে মেয়ের আবদার মেটাবে সেই টাকাটা তো সরকার ও তার কিছু ঘুষখোর পুলিশ অফিসার কেরে নেই কখনো ভেবে দেখেছেন তার সেই টাকায় চোখের জল ও সারাদিনের পরিশ্রম থাকে বিবেকে বাঁধে না আপনাদের ধিক্কার বেঙ্গল পুলিশ !👎

These kind of people came through job scam done by the ruling party members just like the teacher job scam, these people have paid the bribe so in any case they have to retrieve it... On the other hand, i live in bada bazar nd have heard many a times that police officers pay bribe within the department to get posted as much near to the howrah bridge as near as possible. As the distance decrease to the bridge the bribe increases...

This is very unfortunate but a very kind traffic police helped me and my family today when we were coming to Salt Lake from Howrah.Our Taxi broke down and he helped us to get another taxi and my 69 year old mom was with me and as well as my brother.The police man made sure that the taxi driver pay us half the fare as the taxi broke down half way!

The advocates have illegally blocked the road resulting harrasment to the public. They should have moved before court of law as per protocol. When they are breaking law no body is saying. All police are not same.

I lived in Kolkata for a decade (2010-2021). Beautiful city but one of the worst place to live in. I dont want to offend anyone but not only the police or political leader even Parar Dada going to harrass you if they get to know that you're from outside. Pretty bad experience to be honest. Mostly middle age people from city are racist, disrespectful and i don't know why are they always stay angry. In the roads, people wont think twice before cursing you for anything. So If you're planning to settle in Kolkata and you're from NorthEast or Northern Part of bengal, please think twice before take that decision cause it won't be a nice experience i guess. I've never ever thought of leaving Kolkata earlier but Im glad that i took that decision and now im living a peaceful life.

Im from Kolkata and same shit happens with me also, whenever i get out at any of point, a police man harrass me,also i live in the dockside of Kolkata,area khidderpore, i see how the cops and civic volunteers harras truck driver and risk their lives just for 10-20 rupees, ive been in many states like bihar,up,delhi,uk,punjab, Orissa ,etc and never seen such an atrocitious police force anywhere in india. They didn't even accept online documents in apps like mparivahan just to get 100-200 rupees from car or bike drivers,shame on Kolkata police. This is very unfortunate but a very kind traffic police helped me and my family today when we were coming to Salt Lake from Howrah.Our Taxi broke down and he helped us to get another taxi and my 69 year old mom was with me and as well as my brother.The police man made sure that the taxi driver pay us half the fare as the taxi broke down half way!

Same place, i was also harassed by one of the civic volunteer few days back. I requested them not to behave like this but they did not listen to me. I forgot the name of the civic volunteer but his name started with S. he is really a**** guy. I was not in that mood to file an FIR at that time cz i was in hurry and going to attend a wedding party. Otherwise it wld be very bad day for that civic volunteer! Please dont behave nonsense with all people. Do respect. And behave with manners. Plz.

I lived in Kolkata for a decade (2010-2021). Beautiful city but one of the worst place to live in. I dont want to offend anyone but not only the police or political leader even Parar Dada going to harrass you if they get to know that you're from outside. Pretty bad experience to be honest. Mostly middle age people from city are racist, disrespectful and i don't know why are they always stay angry. In the roads, people wont think twice before cursing you for anything. So If you're planning to settle in Kolkata and you're from NorthEast or Northern Part of bengal, please think twice before take that decision cause it won't be a nice experience i guess. I've never ever thought of leaving Kolkata earlier but Im glad that i took that decision and now im living a peaceful life.

Im from Kolkata and same shit happens with me also, whenever i get out at any of point, a police man harrass me,also i live in the dockside of Kolkata,area khidderpore, i see how the cops and civic volunteers harras truck driver and risk their lives just for 10-20 rupees, ive been in many states like bihar,up,delhi,uk,punjab, Orissa ,etc and never seen such an atrocitious police force anywhere in india. They didn't even accept online documents in apps like mparivahan just to get 100-200 rupees from car or bike drivers,shame on Kolkata police. Here people are afraid of police instead of feeling safe in their presence

Aab tum jail jaogee tumhara gaddi nahi hai.( I don't know how follish they can be) i was really caryin and then they said chalan hoga gaadi ka photo liya fir bola 1000 ka chalan ho gaya and he replied jayada tej mat bano overspeeding or bhagane ka case kr dunga...
