I first heard this man circa 1991,i was 10 years old at the time by my cousin in that 17th ward Gerttown,(im from that 9th ward though) Shout out to that 1.5 westbank, fisher project, marrerro, christopher homes etc Outstanding talent outsiders dont know about like Bust Down,Dog house Posse,Tim Smooth,Mc Thick,Tre 8. Shout out to this channel for this interview, this my first time ever seeing this cat.

Can't believe I'm actually seeing Bust Down and Courtney...lol never seen him! I'm 44 and that album was my life at 13. Not that it should have been but I've been bumping that album for decades. Trick Daddy was my favorite song and taught me not to give a chick a dime baby...lol glad to see these dudes still healthy. Much love for reals. RIP to Tim Smooth. I was by a friend's house in high school, she invited me inside. I walk to the back of the shotgun and lo and behold, Tim Smooth in the kitchen at the table eating crawfish!!! I froze. Her mom asked if I wanted some crawfish, I didn't say anything and Tim said "he want that autograph". I said "I do nooooooot!" I still regret not sitting down and having some crawfish with one of my favorite rappers...Bust Down and Tim have a legendary song together. I'm sure Bust Down remembers....I won't name it though! Too hot for tv!!! Sheesh, still can't believe I'm seeing Bust live in the flesh. I just remember the dog on the cassette tape and I never saw him anywhere else. I tell my homeboys, on that album, he was a God to me. But once again, 13 and super impressionable. I carry myself that cool til this day. Blessings....
Thats not true that the East bank didn't respect the westbank. certain people had beef with certain people on each side That wasn't the totality of the two Banks. I was treated like gold when i went across that river.
My homie from the "shire"...rapping in a circle at JErhet/high...bone boys...used to tease him ALL day because his pops would kiss him on the forehead when he got dropped off at grade school!...lol....last saw him in the mall by the high school and I couldn't "stop staring at the freak" he was with!...fo sho
