This doctor is so professional.. he’s giving serious answers to Bart asking questions like “does that mean I’m a pussy?” and “how horny should I be?” 😂😂😂 I’m dying
Great experience you're showing us and I'm glad you're not actually taking any of the replacement hormones. Love the message you said at the end as well. Much love and good luck in your prep!
T levels are checked in AM. As doctor said it decreases as the day goes on so since you did labs later in the day they're going to be artificially low. Also, total testosterone is not as important as free T (testosterone not bound that is free to bind to receptors and stimulate its effect) which you guys didn't talk about. I'm very surprised the doctor did not mention these two key points.
Hi Bart I don’t know if this will get to you but I hope you read this before going on TRT. I’m not a doctor by any means but I also got my blood work done recently too. There were 2 very important metrics the doctor left out which was your free T levels and also your sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Usually your free testosterone levels are the ones that actually matter because this is the testosterone you can use. The rest of it is “locked up” by sex hormone binding globulin. I’m not discrediting your doctor by any means but I think from the video it looks like you went to a speciality private clinic instead of a doctor that does not accept insurance. I think due to this they are incentivized to sell their patients TRT protocols to make money. (That’s why the doc talked about cost at the end) I’ve looked into this issue myself because I wanted to optimize my own T and there are definitely some natural ways to optimize it first instead of hopping on TRT. I can’t go into the details of how they help because there is too much information but I would look into these supplements: -Vitamin D -Zinc -Boron -Fenugreek -Ashwaganda -Fadogia Agrestis -Tonkat Ali Also starting replace red meat with more olive oil and oil from fish. Eating more sardines now. People I would look into that have a lot of videos on this subject: -Thomas Delauer -Dr. Layne Norton Please still consult your doctor before taking these I’m not a doctor. But I would look into these because they maybe a route you can take without having to go down side effects of TRT.
Maybe Bart has low T but he still has big bawls for posting this. I had a similar issue with the results since I drank a protein shake and creatine when I got my blood drawn.
Great video. Glad Wada doesn't allow this (on paper at least). Crazy to me how people argue natty when on trt. Its artificially enhancing what you are producing naturally. Literally the definition of enhanced.
I would get bloodwork done again during a deload with a couple days of abstinence. First thing in the morning, preferably fasted. Will show numbers that are closer to reality.
very insightful and educational, also entertaining and funny asf. bart you never fail to make me laugh or smile. i would love to see you do a video with Andrew Huberman or Derek from more plates more dates and see what you guys can come up with on increasing T naturally with out being on trt. it would be entertaining and a collaboration i would love to see.
Bart you’re the man I’ve been watching for yeaaars! You need to sleep more and start consuming shilajit and seamoss daily! And do not watch any pornography!!
I tend to disagree with the doctor and I think he is 'selling' it a little bit also since latest metrics(shared with me by my doctor) showing that a normal range of 352-478 ng/dL (35-39 years old), and 350-473 ng/dL (40-44 years old) so I wouldn't describe your testosterone levels low but rather normal. Additionally, if you were getting tested as first thing in the morning after a good night 6-8 hours sleep your testosterone results would be for sure over 400! Just my 2 cents
I am 32 and last tested 341. Doctor said I am low normal. I think it’s still pretty low but I am getting checked again 1 year later next week. Reduced alcohol. Increased exercise. And cut a lot of crap food. I do not want to have to be required to take a pill or poke myself… I also don’t want to feel like crap and have such a hard time putting on muscle. I’d say he’s at the lowest of normal but they say it’s based on feeling as well. Some people function well in the 300s. I do not but I want to try to naturally improve mine. Interesting video and nice to see I’m not alone.
Yea he actually isn't even a doctor. He is an NP, which is a nurse with some extra training that allows them to be able to practice under the supervision of a doctor (however some states like nevada allow them to practice independently to overcome the doctor shortage in rural areas, which really shouldn't apply to Las Vegas itself). Most physicians will be required to undergo 4 years of med school and 3 years of internal med residency then another 3 years of endocrinology fellowship before they would be considered an expert in their specialty. This guy did the 3 years of NP school (which is still difficult) but then went on and just became a self-proclaimed hollistic medicine specialist (also wtf does that even mean?) Anyways, you are correct that the test levels in the low normal in one measurement should not even matter. You are actually required to have several measurements in the low that were all measured at the same time of day. Moreover, many people are just able to function on much lower amounts of testosterone (i.e. their body just being much more receptive to testosterone and not needing to produce as much to maintain a functioning body). Also, like what the other commenter said there are other things like sleep, diet and stress that affect testosterone on its own. I think the most important thing to note here is, is Bart showing signs of being hypogonadic? Is he exhausted? Does he have trouble maintaining muscle mass? Is he infertile? Depressed? Losing his hair? Tired? It is actually comical to me that this dude is trying to push Bart on Tamoxifen to help him raise his Test. There isn't even any evidence that it works. The dude is literally just upselling anything he can so that he run up a bill. I will say, he started out pretty good and I agreed with a lot of things he was saying until he got to the topic of AST/ALT and Test.
@@mikethapanda Totally agree. I likely should be on test. at 32 with 341 and having most of the symptoms. But I also need to increase cardio, lose 30 pounds, eat better, handle work and kid stress better. So I am trying to do things naturally. In his case.. I mean just look at him. He has plenty of muscle and seems pretty consistently on his mental game. I'm a slug in comparison. He should probably not lift extremely hard right before the test, focus on hydration and sleep and then test again in a few weeks. Agreed that one test is not enough data given the fluctuations in a given time frame.
Do not get on an estrogen blocker. It will lower your bone mineral density over time. It is normal for estrogen to go up when testosterone goes up. What's important is the ratio of testosterone to estrogen. If you absolutely need to lower the estrogen you have a couple opstions: lower your TRT dose and/or increase the frequency of injections. Stay away from AI's (estrogen blockers).
The oversimplification of HDL and LDL as good and bad should not be described as thus by a medical doctor. Neither is good nor bad. It is a ratio. We need both, but leaning towards more HDL levels.
You really want to go natural with testosterone, with the blood clots and your body's not making it, so once you stop your body will be at a even lower base than before. I know the fear of saturated fat is "dangerous" but ive been on carnivore diet and my johnson was been more active than even and im one of many men who say this. Also carnivore who get a Coronary Artery Calcium score test come back with very low numbers even 0. There's not much fear to be had on carnivore except loss of water in the muscles making them shrink and having to work harder in the gym. One last thing, everything he said about saturated fat has not been proven. Thats the truth red meat, butter and animal fats have never been proven when eating on a carnivore diet to cause any health issues.

That's what I was going to say...Doctor was 100% serious 😂
So interesting! The thing Dr doesn't know about Bart is that Bart wakes up at the crack of the morning, that's why he needs an afternoon nap 😂
Bro be lifting hella early!!! 💪💪💪
@aquaviii right?? Hitting prs sometimes at 530am
Yeah but he goes to sleep at 10:00 pm at the latest. Man prioritizes sleep always lol
Really insightful video, investigating these things for myself as well atm
Very interesting video! Doc dropped some insightful knowledge.

I just got free medical advice without making an appointment.

Big Bawls forreal, Bart a Real 1
Very cool video. Learned a lot - thanks for sharing.
That Dr is brilliant 😮
Great video. Glad Wada doesn't allow this (on paper at least). Crazy to me how people argue natty when on trt. Its artificially enhancing what you are producing naturally. Literally the definition of enhanced.
Genuine question, by what you said, would you consider people taking creatine enhanced and not considered natty?
I would get bloodwork done again during a deload with a couple days of abstinence. First thing in the morning, preferably fasted. Will show numbers that are closer to reality.
Who did Bart say recommends natural ways?
BUN is probably elevated due to high protein diet, not being dehydrated FYI

LETS GOOOO! Road to world babeeee
Very interesting. I had to go through the same thing at 31 with low T due and eventually went on TRT ( with HcG).
Did you feel better after TRT?
Are you wearing the oura ring?
The usual drug peddling was expected by the guy trying to sell you drugs. Way to go with sticking NATURAL Bart! I knew you couldn’t be swindled&💜
I wouldn't freak out too much about the T levels, I like your approach, do what you can naturally first and go from there!
Bart you’re the man I’ve been watching for yeaaars! You need to sleep more and start consuming shilajit and seamoss daily! And do not watch any pornography!!

You should get another opinion from a natural doctor or practitioner to see how the results and recommendations differ!
it stopped working?
Damn brro... so sory
Wow thank you for sharing. My hubby is 60😊
