There was a nice tweezer top right at resistance on THC this morning for an easy 2 to 3.4R too. I was too conservative to get the full range, but working on that :)
yes they are! stay patient and wait for a trade that your confident in! win percentages are mostly based on objective rules.. if you use your brain and are patient you can be much more confident in your trades and have a much higher winning percentage.. however you will always loose some trades!! I LOVE REAL LIFE TRADING.. once I make my first pay check through my forex funding I will be signing up to attend a trading retreat!! THANK YOU "BROSEPH" :)
On that Kroger Tweezer Top, the volume also indicated the end of the buying move! Great setup for the downside. Learned trend-ending volume before RLT, learned tweezers just the other day through RLT. Thanks for the info.
These patterns are almost everyday trading NQ, would love to see u do an analysis on the NQ 3 Min Chart - Been going crazy since Oct 30 2023 - just keeps ripping. . .
At 19:50, you said that that was a One White Soldier. But in an earlier video you defined it as a two candle pattern where the first candle was bearish and the second candle opens above the close of the bearish candle and closes above the open of the bearish candle. Can you explain more here?
@@RealLifeTrading Yes, I noticed that as well but the thing is is that I got the idea that textbook candles aren't magic, they are calculated and chosen based on statistics and mathematical patterns that are replicable. With that being said, divergence from textbook candles may still have statistical significance. I also got the idea that candlestick patterns could lie on a spectrum of statistical significance. So with all of that being said, what I took from your video is to not be so restrictive with candlestick patterns. That you could use an imperfect pattern as long as you have the experience that tells you that it works X% of the time.
I LOVE TWEEZERS I trade metals and energy and thanks alot for that info on it works great on less priced stocks gonna check that out loved it thanks a lot :)
One question, Do Engulfing candlestick patterns Have to be 2 of different direction? Example: A bullish engulfing pattern, does it Have to happen after any bearish candle? or can the bullish candle that engulfs the previous candle come after a smaller bullish candle? I hope I made my self clear enough...
I'm understanding the ranking as applies to day trading. Does the rank/order switch at all for strictly swing trading? For example in swing bullish plays does the hammer beat the MSR or OWS?
+Juan Pastás Thanks for the comment. You can check out this E-book. www.reallifetrading.com/free-products/candlesticks That might clarify some things. Along with this quick reference guide. www.reallifetrading.com/articles/real-life-trading-candlestick-cheat-sheet I can't zoom in more, once the video is completed and uploaded to youtube. However, potentially making it full screen might help on your end? :_) Either way, let me know if you have any additional questions! :)
100% chance I wasn't. Sorry you found it un informative. Perhaps if I WERE drunk I would have done a better job. What's your feedback and thoughts on what I can do better next time so I get a 'very good. Thanks for not being drunk' comment? : )

William Hensley correct. And the candle at 19:50 - the white candle opened above the close. ;)

I hope I made my self clear enough...
Samuel Kuckelhaus Yes, they do. If they are the same color, it’s a tad different sentiment and pattern :)
Thank you fam
YOU ROCK
Is this for intra day trading ?
Max Planck Yes! Both... these same patterns work amazing for swing trading too!!!
I'm understanding the ranking as applies to day trading. Does the rank/order switch at all for strictly swing trading? For example in swing bullish plays does the hammer beat the MSR or OWS?
YEP! IT DOES! :)
Thanks! So hammer outranks msr, ows, engulf & below for swings. Does it beat tweezers too?
life with Noah no. Tweezers are most powerful
Jerremy, when you reference candle size, body/wick do not matter, you are talking simply candle high/low irrespective of body size ?
Size = body. :-)
thanks a lot. more zoom please if possible.

So you're telling me size matters and the black candle needs to be bigger than the white candle. Gotcha.
