I really love your idea of the hobbit hole under the raised living room. However, if you wanted to maximize your space and money, I would build what you want (hobbit hole) on top since the structure is already there. A living space with a pull out couch under, and on the other side the kitchen. Under the ladder I would turn it into storage and a toilet. Behind the shed an outdoor shower. Then you and me can build an entire real hobbit house once I return to Florida 😅. But if you’re anything like me, once we have something in mind, we are going to do it no matter what 😂❤❤❤
Yes, if I did do a potty in there would just be a regular composting or camp toilet but I don’t think I want to put plumbing in there and do all that mess maybe in the future but if I do all that I’ll have to get permits while I’m here. We’ll see.. just ideas.
@@floridachickstinyadventures I was able to find it again, and just sent you an email. Looking forward to seeing your creativity unleashed on this shed. 😁
I love the idea. I hope you do it so that I can see how you do It. I would do the kitchen outside and put a big table in the kitchen outside. I have seen many outdoor kitchens and they look so cozy and It gives you this feeling that you are living outside. I even saw someone that integrated a kind of transparent plastic foil to close the kitchen área in case of messy weather so It looked like a wintergarden (I don't if it's called like that in english). I would do the shower inside for more intimacy and put a bathtub outside.I just found your channel and I LOVE it because I myself was thinking about converting a shed into a tiny House because I think it's very practical and affordable. I even was thinking about combining two or more and use a shed like a room for my kids, so they could even have their own veranda as an alternative to living in an overexpensive apartment. Good luck with your project!!!!
Yes! Kitchen outside, I think would be great! Just seems more inviting and helps. Keep the stink down from inside depending on what you’re cooking.. shower inside of bathtub outside sounds perfect because sometimes the weather isn’t always great. Thank you so much for joining and watching. I hope to get this done someday soon! 🪴🫶🏻

Hi Jess. I guess I'm the 100th viewer Welcome back
100th viewer? Always Keeping it 💯 .. thanks 🤠
The boards going across that hold up the loft are structural. they are necessary to hold the building together. You cannot take those out.
