an ocean of tears is not enough to express the sorrow felt about the passing of Karen Carpenter. It's been 40 years, and I still cry about her death, and what could have been.
ONJ and Karen Carpenter are two of my most favorite. Unique singing voice and there will never be singers as good as them in terms of uniqueness. I saw ONJ perform here in Philippines. Amazed at her great performance considering her health issues and age. May their souls rest in peace. Heaven has two beautiful angelic voices. ❤

So precious that Karen would show up for her in Spirit when Olivia was performing her concerts. One can witness right here in this video how much they love each other. Total soul sisters, for sure. I've shed some tears myself watching Olivia tear up at the end. It's hard losing a best friend. One never fully gets over that empty space left in your heart when they are gone. I'm thankful they are back together now.

I don't know about Karen but Olivia was not a Christian, she is not in heaven. In this clip she told who she worshiped, "spirit gods", that's not Christianity, it's mysticism or something similar.
@@stevemcintosh6711 I disagree with you about Olivia because our Church teaches that if the person had some good in them while living on Earth, like Olivia was charitable and gave much to help to fight Cancer, then when they pass, if they are willing to accept God, then they have a shot at entering one of the Heavens. It is people who are very evil and unrepentant like Putin, or Neo-Nazis, Terrorists, Japan's area 731 during WWII that did evil medical and chemical experiments on people, sexual predators, Child abusers, rapists, and others who are proud of their evil who wind up in Hell because they bring that Hell with them to the afterlife, not people who have good in them. Hence, Emanuel Swedenborg who claimed to visit Heaven said the angels told Him, "To say someone will not enter Heaven because of the religion they were raised in or adopted is a very hurtful and untrue message because God is a God of LOVE. Heaven is for good people because good people have HEAVEN WITHIN THEMSELVES.".

Karen played her voice like an instument .. I'm not sure she had a pier, I can't think of any. Vocal talent wise she is on par with Linda Rondstadt .. who I consider the GOAT with next to no equals. Listen to the song 'Superstar' and tell me another singer who could send her voice all those different places in 1 song. I wish Karen had gotten the things she needed to stay here. Not one unkind word in Oliva's interview = Class. Rest in Peace ladies.

She would close her eyes and pray her spirit gods were there? This is sad for me to hear because there is nothing in Scripture that supports such nonsense.
Hi, It is hard to understand Olivia's accent. She did not mean "gods"--she was saying "Spirit guides." It is a term used to generally describe a being who helps you at the direction of God. Angels are sent by God to help people. Olivia is basically saying that she is asking her angels to help her, and that sometimes she felt like Karen was helping her in spirit. I hope this helps.
