People travel from all over to participate in this annual event in Arkansas! You too can join in on the fun digging crystals, enjoying the gem show or both! And if you want to dig crystals in Mt. Ida, go and check out Twin Creek and Sweet Surrender Mines!
On this episode, we are visiting this event, spending the first half at one location, and the second half of the video at another.

We were at Crater Diamond State park a few weeks ago ! We found some jasper but no real diamonds . But oh so much fun 😃

Hey Crystal Collector, I have a great question for you......If you only have 4 to 5 days you are spending in Arkansas and your traveling by SUV Ford from EAST TEXAS, where would you visit and where would you stay?.... we're going somewhere at the end of August maybe in the middle of September.
Plus when would you take this trip what would be the perfect weather for this kind of trip?

Not really quartz is the most abundant mineral on earth
Actually crystals are not worth that much because they're not rare that can be found on you can find lots of them in just one pocket only Rare Minerals are the ones that are really costing
Jeremy Vargas well if you get a big one like in thumb nail they can go from 80-100 depending who you buy it from also small ones in bulk are good because people would rather have smaller gems those can go up in any price of its bulk size though
If you found that in africa it may cost a lot of money, but outside africa it has no value

Wwooooowwww, i wish i can go there someday. I really love crystal,especialy clear quartz,rose quartz,lemurian quartz and many more. Oh and i do love jewel too. I have rough brazillian amethys in small piece,rough raflesia,sea moonstone,clear quartz,rainbow labrador,black sapphire and few more. But i'm not collector,i just love to amass it. xD

Great video! Have you ever used the "cylinders of the pharaoh"? It is ancient Egyptian electrical technology made of copper and zinc cylinders filled with quartz crystal when held produce up to 1.5 volts and can be purchased on Amazon for only 29.99

The Crystal Collector ye. Not only is it not allowed, but there is nothing to dig for, well nothing geological. Historical artifacts however.
I have been thinking about going to go out there for a long long time! Was this at or near the Coleman mine? Nevermind, lol...I just saw/heard where you all were. So I guess this happens once a year...too bad my son is in school at that time! Gotta make it out to visit Shawn out in NY one of these days too!

Abdul El Hassan every location is different. A lot of times you will see white pegmatite rock or dirt. Where are you Digging, location?
