No one does recaps this good. You capture everything, the drama, the suspense, the epic scenes and still find time to add some witty spice into the mix. Truly nice!
This series was so amazing. I was literally crying at the end. Tight script and characters throughout and one of the best shows I have watched in forever
Hate they couldn't be together at the end. But I kind like how it wasn't the stereotypical happy ending. Just like real life you never get the perfect ending.

Her specific words were, "But our child is in this world [...] I want her with everything I have." Mrs. Coulter didn't go with Asriel because Lyra was the most important thing to her. How she felt about Lord Asriel, as well as her professional aspirations, paled in comparison to her need to protect her daughter.

dang this show is just not for me. i got hooked by the magic sci fi ideas and the witches but so much of the style, pacing, plot, and anticlimactic ending made it unwatchable for me. the stakes just don't seem real

Shooting, arrows, witches and angels flying around, explosions everywhere, Roger, Jopari and Lee's spirits leading the dead against the specters, the pansebjørnes throwing themselves at the angels that flew too close to the floor and at the soldiers from the Magisterium 😵...! Asriel, Stelmaria, Coulter and Ozymandias having a intense fight against Metatron that ended with Coulter holding his wings down, Ozymandias pulling his hair up to Stelmaria bit his throat and Asriel holding him at the abdomen and pulling himself to make everyone fall together into the abyss... Ooh, and everything that Lyra and Will did during the battle? It was IN THE OPEN FIELD!!! They comforted the Authority while He passed away outside the crystal cube, run carrying their dæmons (feeling their stomachs hurting because they picked each other's dæmons instead of their own)... Aaand the kissing part? In the book, they had sex on the mulefa world, and "their climax" is the thing that balanced the Dust on the Multiverse (and, yeah, Father Gomez was watching on his sniper). Side note: Lyra was 12 and Will 10 in the last book, so it was a very bold move to end a pre-teen book series like this, treating his audience with the same level of maturity we had back on this age. I madly respect Pullman for this one. The rest of the ending remains the same as the series showed, by the way 🤗😄. Hahaha'.

I love how season one stays relativly close in plot with the book. Then in seasons two and three it slowly gets so derailed from the origanal plot its just like, wha- wai-...?...? what is thi-?...? Okay, I give up, IDC anymore. This literly just took some of the most importent things in the book and was just like, ohhhhhh!!!, its trash! lets just ruin the point of the entier series here... add a little nonsense.. and perfect!!!

But the movie version has very good visuals, like in a fantasy world, while this series kind of feels low budget
