I appreciate the efforts you put into curating an informative video. My sister's wedding is just around the corner, and this video will be of great help. My personal favourite is definitely the tevta; it is very special. You look so beautiful, and you styled every item of jewellery so beautifully.

This is the kind of quality content I want to watch. Absolutely amazing video. Amazing examples, stories, references. Just loved it. I do love it more because till my teen years I used to despise my culture- haryanvi jaat. I know I was stupid, being raised in city I thought of haryanvi language and culture as low class. And I laugh at that version of mine now. I started learning a lot more about my culture in my 20s, reading books, legends, haryanvi dialects and songs. I am so proud of the fact that now I speak haryanvi in public area with my family without thinking that I might be judged. I own it now. And as a fashion enthusiast this kind of content helps me understand the fashion side of things as well, because the rural india is really really fashionable, it's just that they are not mainstream. Thank you Manisha!
Hi Sarika, your comment brought a smile on my face. And I can totally relate to that! In my school in Haryana, the teachers used to tell us to work on our accent because they believed that Haryanvi accent sounded “gawaar”, and they were Haryanvi too haha. I’ve always loved exploring different cultures, listening to folk music and collecting elements of regional costumes. I’m glad you enjoy watching my content. Thank you😊
So glad I found you and your channel. Love to learn about your rich culture and fabulous fashion. And above all want to return to India to go jewelry shopping right now! Thanks for your explanations!
Thank you! I have been trying to learn the names of different clothing and jewelry items and it is really hard to find that information in English, let alone with such clear explanations! ❤
