I have no idea how I ended up here and I never really thought of model trains, but I've watched the entire thing with so much wonder, respect for the builders and love for the beautiful details and landscaping. This world has something wholesome and "safe" about it, making me want to step outside of the train and explore the place. I could watch this every day! Lovely.
The time, money, and effort that goes into making the wonderful layouts! If I had Half the time, money and talent - I'd have a layout. Thanks for putting this out on TH-cam - Its marvelous! My Uncle collected Lionel trains when I was a kid - He had such passion for this hobby - He would have embraced todays technology for train layouts.
Every little boy who grew up playing with trains..this is their dream. What a beautiful and magical layout and that steam engine approaching and then passing by at 6:30 was awesome!
Rusty tracks in some places, a bicycle race led by the police, a German newsstand on the platform. The details are so lovely. It's been made with lots of love and dedication. ... And the Ferris wheel! Wanna buy a ticket for it 😍 ... Even the noises sound real. For example when another train rushes by. I wouldn't expect that from a model railway. Wow ... German railway models are most beautiful ❤

Absolutely wonderful! Incredible detail. Beautiful work, Thank you for such dedication. My first model train ride! The views with sound effects, snow, the greenery, I love it, love it, love it. Thank you.
Duane Cole I thought I saw some snow. My apologies, you have obviously checked, thank you for the correction. A wonderful job on all of this. I will watch this again when I have more time. Thx, sorry for my mistake.
So very beautiful and awesome looking. Anyone else get a little freaked out by the giant at 8:42??? Also the Peter Gunn Theme at 13:20??? I so love it!!!
Very impressive layout and a lot of hard work to maintain ,totally amassing just one thing stands out is the buckled and bent plus missing overhead wires other than that truly a great layout.
That driver is passing a lot of red signals. Having tried my hands with building a smaller layout there are an insane amount of man hours in that layout. Man that thing is a beauty.
The details, the effort, the landscapes,... All are well made! The lights of some police cars and the traintrack signales that change are great! I enjoyed watching this. :)
¡cuanta perfección! ¡cuanta excelencia!
Just an idea....a couple random spotlights on the ceiling, pointing down to resemble a sun. Would create nice shadows and blind us from the ceiling. Love it without!!!!!! Just an idea.... Beautiful! Great job!!!!
WOW very good video and good buildings and good station long did it take to build. Aslo you could do another video not of the train going round but of the road and houses. But still very good. Thanks for sharing.
I noticed a lot of overhead wiring for pantographs on different sections of track and then no wiring or broken spots. Are you planning on putting up all overhead wiring? Great layout!
Is this at miniatur wunderland? Such an impressive layout, as a model railroader myself I can't imagine how long it must have taken to build all of this with such a high grade of detail. Thank you for sharing!
It is beautiful. The realistic cabride experience is just disturbed by only two circumstances: 1. the black "sky" and bright light have a rather unpleasant effect. This is what it would look like on the moon. 2. the tunnels could look more realistic inside
The layout also capable of time-travel. At any rate, the cars at 4.10 are from the 1920s and 1930s but by the time we get to the station at 4.20 we're back in 2017 (or 2021).
I can never get enough of these cab rides. Each one is unique in its own way. At 4:40 to 5:07 - were the passengers included with the cars or were they added?
Nice model railway 👍 In spite of everything, a little criticism is allowed At the level crossings and every other signal is incorrect As a German railroader, I forgive you
Oh dear. 6:50 the train passes a signal at red. Living on the edge I see. Again at 12:20,13:40,14:30, 15:40, and 16:59 as well. Also not counting some of the dwarf signals in the switchyards, they look like they might only support red. Still, if that's the only obvious details that I could spot, pretty impressive. This must have taken years and several people to build, then to restore and convert to DCC. Does the train make a gradual progression across each deck in one gigantic loop route? Or does it roughly stay on a given deck and just loop that deck until it goes into the parking track to make room for another.
Nice layout. One issue with large layouts is that you have to do a lot of maintenance as well. This layout needs maintenance: e.g. level crossing gates not working. Some of the signals are not working and the train is often passing red signals. The route is quite boring: seems to be a big loop. The tracks below the mountains seem to be designed and built very well. I like the camera view.
Hey what's happening that's awesome & fantastic train 🚆 model set I was thinking about getting it but I don't have any room to assemble it I'm renting a house until I find a bigger house with enough room to install it 😮
Warum?

Never stop dreaming friend! That's how great things come to be!
Im him man!
Fantastic model railway and cab ride, although the driver seems to be running a few red signals!
Very nice!
and the railroad crossing are open while the train is running
I noticed that he put many plastic lives in danger😂😂😂
Not few every red signal
No SPADs!

If I would have railway like this, I would spend all my money and time buying high speed trains to it. The tracks and decorations are amazing!

when I watch your video, I dream of a long trip on a train, through Eastern Europe, Russia, Canada or Iran. Congratulations for your work
Thank you.
Amazing! I'd like to have a bird's-eye view to see the whole layout.
What a work of art! Thank you for sharing.
Man, that was a great trip. Thanks for the adventure!
Good Footage ,
It 's so REAL ,
I love it.😃
Just awesome!!! for mi 8:20 encounter with the train hauling trucks? in the tunnel! is this a movie? brillant!
Excellent work one of the best HO layouts I've seen.

Very interesting movie! What mini camera are you using in the film?

What surprises me is how squeaky it is like a real train.

AMAZING GOOD LAYOUT THANK YOU 😊
As they say, "It is all in the details."
The builders of this railroad definitely adhered to that rule.
C'EST SUPER !!! BRAVO !!!

No, it is not the Miniatur Wunderland. It is a different great model railway exhibition in Germany.
It's awesome !!!!!! 👌👌
PILENTUM I m a rail modeller from India. I love your videos very much.
It is beautiful. The realistic cabride experience is just disturbed by only two circumstances:
1. the black "sky" and bright light have a rather unpleasant effect. This is what it would look like on the moon.

At 0:33. Was that a train horn? If it was. The horn sounds cute!
good speed.. womderful setup.
Bellissimo .... veramente un bel viceo!
Beautiful
One word -excellent!
The sound is as compelling as the visuals.
Wow, the whole layout got to be worth a hundred grand. If not 2
00:52 Are those cogs in the middle of the track?
This is Amazing.......
8:43 It's a giant run!
Awesome!
This goes perfectly with "East Broadway" from Unsane

I can never get enough of these cab rides. Each one is unique in its own way. At 4:40 to 5:07 - were the passengers included with the cars or were they added?
Normally, the passenger coaches are available without figures. They added them.
Nice model railway 👍
In spite of everything, a little criticism is allowed
At the level crossings and every other signal is incorrect
Super!Varázslatos!
I have seen this on a few Pilentum videos: What are the small black rectangles on every tie? They get taller at turnouts and crossings.
This is the so-called third rail made by Märklin. The Märklin system has contact studs located in the middle of the tracks.
You know what would be cool, A 360 video of that
You are the best 😆
I take it that the camera is from a diesel . got any cab rides from steam ?
Just search Pilentum's channel. There are +300 videos, also including cab rides with steam locos.
That was awesome
Great layout very entertaining to watch, wondering where you got the large Ferris wheel I keep seeing in the background.
N° 1 !!!! nice nice nice !!!!! MERAVIGLIOSAMENTE REALE & INFINITO !! BRAVI. N° 1

Is it possible to get rid of the tilt shift blur, this is what makes it look so much like a model instead of real life
Oh dear. 6:50 the train passes a signal at red. Living on the edge I see. Again at 12:20,13:40,14:30, 15:40, and 16:59 as well. On the layout are several blocks, but the main line is one gigantic loop. Experts call it dog-bone-layout.
Love the tunnels
Impressive

Very enjoyable train ride. So cool, and realistic. How many miles of rail are there in this location ?
Excelente video.
If it's possible for a layout to be too big, this is it.
