I keep seeing this on sale but I can't pull the trigger. Every demo I see and hear leaves me very unimpressed. I have been a singer for over 50 yrs and I have nothing against technology, but nearly all of this products features are a bit more than I feel is needed. A bit of delay and reverb gives me pretty much all I need. Does anyone know of a good unit that supplies some harmonies and perhaps a couple of other effects? This one is overkill for my purposes.
...she's nice ...and cute......and if this is the future of music...........this kind of automation........we are in big trouble.......why.....because automation reduces and removes the human aspects of human imperfection which allow for creativity and phrasing ....where imagination and yes technique and not presets lead the way............

i definitely agree.......but when i meet to many EDMer's that can even play a middle c on the piano or know what 4 beats to the bar is.....hitting the "on" button.....thats what the crux of my comment is concerned with......tech with perspective means that if there is no power supply in the room.....the music and creativity can still continue.......otherwise these layers give the music depth that is really fun to listen to....and can lead to new areas of innovation.
can you talk thro SHOWING IN SIMPLE TERMS FOR BEGINNERS on ..Voice Live 2 -........HOW TO DO ....Basic USB Recording into Computer...MAC AND WINDOWS> TC HELICON can't seem to explain or show how to do this on youtube..... don't need fancy setups settings etc,, just where cables plug into and using PRO TOOLS or similar ...NOT CUBASE please its so finicky about licence transfers a lot of musicians I know don;t use it because of how hard to move onto new PC;s / move around band members etc... just not worth hassle...
For VL2, it'll show up as a stereo audio device on your computer and you'd treat it like any other audio device in your DAW. If you're already using an audio interface and you're on PC, you'll need something like ASIO4ALL if you want to have both the interface and the VL2 usb audio active simultaneously.
I noticed that too. She had a tendency to go sharp a lot. I don't want to make excuses for her, but there are several things that can contribute aka nerves, strange acoustics of the room etc. I recorded a cover of Katy Perry's Firework and I kept going sharp. There was something about the acoustics in the room I was recording. I could not hear it when I was recording but the playback was terrible. I painstakingly reworked most of it but there are still hints here and there. It can happen to the best of us.
