A trade war wouldn't benefit either party. I'm not sure why this is being proposed, especially at a time when US GDP growth is really good.
The whole “trade imbalance to USA” is a partial story or a scam Because in services USA have the upper hand not only with Europe but practically almost whole World: finance industry, Internet services (Google, YT, Amazon, twitter/X; look what they’re doing to TikTok), and the judiciary in a number of cases specially with Latin America (look vulture funds and Argentina).
We have army on your soil and you dont have on ours. So tread lightly.

Great job president Trump
How does oil and gas provide jobs for Americans compared to manufactured goods?
exploration, extraction and production, shipping, maintenance of the infrastructure, working refineries etc. and a portion of those are manufactured goods if they've been through a refinery.
More taxes for the Americans?
EU should counter with things like Tesla, which isn't liked anyway, and I bet China would be happy to sell things to EU at a reasonable price.
not enough oil/gas is available. also a slight shortage of delivery and storage capacity.
LOL, Trump is a joke.
