When I was learning to play Anivia, I made so many similar mistakes. One time I fucked my team over so bad that I actually asked them to report me. The sad thing is, I remember exactly how that game played out. Because we were basically stomping, I had like 7 kills at 15 minutes, my jungler was fed. I went to wall off 4 of their team so they couldn't chase my team, but my team was never getting caught. And I knew it as soon as I fucked up. I was like, " Oh man that was the worst wall in existence", as I struggled to salvage whatever I could, ace, into baron, into dragon, into eventually losing the game.

Giving Veigar range is the sort of decision that takes 200+ years of games design experience to appreiciate.
You wouldnt understand. This is only the beginning.
Mages, brawlers, even juggernauts, soon all champions which have fallen behind will have increased range on all their attacks and spells until their wr= 50%. At which point it will become necessary to add a new active ability key for all new champions, but don't worry, your old champs will be rebuffed into relevance whenever they get a new premium skin.
Now do all the ranged champs who don't have near the range of the close distance or hook that brawlers and tanks have.
You’re all losing your minds, Veigar Q and W are easy enough to dodge and neither E nor R got range buffs. E is generally “needed”, at least for landing W, unless the opponent is just totally braindead, but even when you’re within the walls of his E you can still dodge his abilities just the same.
That said, support Veigar might be nice now since you have more range to work with on Q to farm via poke. I think people are exaggerating how this effects veigar mid other than making him a bit better late game but almost every other mage out ranged him before and even after the buffs they pretty much still do. I get if everyone just hates mages but if anything this just lets him compete with other mages

I'm the guy that recommended teemo mid with skarner jungle, so you could drag enemies across your shrooms. I AM BACK WITH A BANG! Imagine this: Teemo mid, again, going burn build. But with an Ivern jungle. Meaning, free blue (sustain) and free red (EXTRA burn). I Tried this in gold, it works
I like the end when they say “jg diff” when swag had more dmg than his entire team and the enemy jg and mid combined
The real test would be to mid lane against assassins imo, it would let you test how much range you can actually get against them. Many times I found myself having to get to close to an assassin to get my w or q off. It seems this buff was more aimed towards that direction so you can kite melee better

The Q and W range buff is really good against poke laners which counter Veigar the most. Riot has changed W range before but never the Q. As a veigar main I can't wait to try different matchups with this.
Is cheap shot good with him or taste of blood is better? I always take the first one but I'm not sure because I see everyone take ToB
@@Yaku62 Taste of blood is better for sure. It is a good way to sustain in landing phase without sacrificing for inspiration with biscuits which are not necessary.

Electrocute is not a consistent rune to run on Veigar because in the first 15 minutes it's iffy to proc it. Arcane Comet is better for poke IMO.
Veigar is another champ that I love seeing you play ! He's such a little (unintentional) goofball and I watch every video that features him.

A new passive on Xerath (idea):
Current passive (regenerate missing mana) and + 0.5% AP ratio increase for every kill you get and +0.25% AP ratio increase for every assist you get
way to broken on an artillery mage. especially late game you basically get a 2nd rabbadons, plus rabbadons would scale with it. 1k ap on xerath would be easy going at that point
@@zokora3656For artillery mages like him, I'd rather he just has more MS. That's the best stat in the game, and Xerath is pretty much a porcelain Death Star
If I'm really ahead, I max W second just so I can 1 shot carries without R. Otherwise it's Q max, 3 points in E for the increased stun duration, W max, E max. Went 7/0 bot in a ranked game yesterday with a Yasuo support xD yes I'm silver kekw. Also one thing I didn't notice I relied on so much is the little sound it makes when you gain AP from Q on his Final Boss skin

Out if curiosity. What's the common conception of a "one shot"? To me it means killing something at full health with one skill or attack.
I feel like a full haste Veigar with tear could be fun. You'd farm better so you'd get still get lots of AP and you could just throw out constant poke.

bout the blue, in wild rift after a few min in game, if the jgler killes blue or red, you can pick his buff, lowkey just la ivern
The reason your W does so much damage is that it has 100% AP scaling at all ranks whilst your Q is around 50% scaling. Needless to say, 1.6k AP is going to give you some hard hitting Ws

Veigar is a mage without any escape and went low hp and instead of backing he hunts down WW, who is well known for hunting down low hp enemies, and steals his camp and kills WW
Day 6 of asking for Flash-Ghost, Hail of Blades Darius with Heartsteel rush into Titanic into Gargoyle. Beefy Darius that relies on stacking passive quickly to snowball early and become a raidboss at three items. Flexible build though, you can replace Titanic with Shojin or Cleaver and still do well.

i still wonder why nashors and lich bane arent more common items on viegar
the amount of extra burst would be insane. hundreds of bonus damage to spread across more enemys from more angles.
Mages really want to utilize range and avoid being blown up. Staying alive can be more important than dps. That’s the big reason people avoid nashors, cause depending on the enemy comp going for an AA as a mage can be risky, let alone multiple AA’s. That aside, Lich Bane I can actually agree with you because his AP scaling can make it worthwhile to try to get one AA in, usually while they’re stunned by E or if they get too close to give you some more burst to kill whoever jumps on you. The movement speed on it is a nice touch too to help avoid enemies. So lich bane yes but Nashors no just cause you really don’t want to be stuck going for multiple AA’s especially now that he has his ability range increased so there’s even less need to get up close to the enemy

Should have been everfrost raba lichbane. Would have been like 500-650 ekstra dmg for free in your combo
