Dear Tesla owners: Try to avoid complaining when charging your car. Be thankful you can afford to own one and pinch yourself now and then how lucky you are.

2. get a gas car for road trips because we have learned teslas add and extra 3-5 hours...
Of course, it really depends on how far you're going. It, also, depends on how well you plan for such trips. If you have the highest capacity Teslas, it's not as much of an issue. Also, you don't have to solely depend on the Supercharger network. The CHAdeMO network's DC fast chargers will help you, when superchargers are overcrowded. Planning is key. I plan on getting the highest battery pack available in my Tesla.

Hybrids: Jack of all trades, master of none: bad a gas, bad at electric, twice the complexity for little to no gain. Thanks, but no thanks. Hybrids are the dumbest thing ever when you have 250 miles 100% electric cars available.
+AscendedSaiyan3: Yeah, planning is very important for long trips at this early stage. Nowadays, the car can do most of that for you. As long as you don't go to Tesla Central (California), you are very unlikely to run into an overcrowded Supercharger interrupting your plans, and Tesla is working to resolve that problem.
I had no problem at all following my 4000 mile plan with my Model S 60, though it was on a pretty relaxed schedule in the middle of nowhere. My car spent a total of about 28 hours supercharging (1 hour every ~150 miles), with much of that time doing things we'd be stopping for anyway, such as eating lunch. Keep in mind that my 60 supercharges slower than any Tesla currently available new, including the new 60 (because it's actually a 75). Regardless, I have no regrets saving the money with the 60 and I loved driving it on that trip.

Elon Musk already fixed the Problem with Teslas being left at charging stations even after being fully charged.
After charging 100% you have to pay for the electricity.
Eventually the fully autonomous driving feature will be able to drop you off and take itself to the charging station to top off and then move itself to a regular parking spot
Giggidygiggidy12 Self driving cars are great but they can't be left alone. They probably will be a electronic error wich is quite back and you could live your car to run into people so it still needs a human to control them mistakes if they happen. I watched a programme and it said if a van came down a one way road at 70 towards you in a self driving car and there was a woman and a baby on the sidewalk the car would pick the safest for you. But wouldn't you want to make the decision of getting hit or killing a woman and her baby?

Think about it. If that van was also autonomous, it wouldn't be barreling down towards the other autonomous car. It could even create a connection with your car, and if your car notices the women and her child, it can send that data to the van. Ba-da-bing ba-da-boom 100% safer than humans.

Actually, what your "frozen in time" mind is seeing is the human race evolving. We've created technology that performs trivial tasks for us so that we can keep focused on tasks that machines can still not do. A door closing may not the best evidence of this, but automating tasks like that let us focus on more advanced things. Thus... the human race evolves and is allowed to do and create more things such as this amazing car.

They put that Super Charger in downtown Las Vegas because of Project 100, it was a flop, so now we have a Super Charger in a sketchy part of LV....if you are alone at that charger, I would say use one of many Chademo chargers in town. Not safe there with your kids.

Yeah. Costs $1-$2 per full charge depending on where you live and how much you pay per kw/h.

Purchase a Tesla after Jan. 1 2017 and they give you about 1000 miles for free but after that you will have to pay.

So charge the car before the trip, as any normal person would do.
We usually do. We got back to the hotel at 2 am from a 7 hour video shoot. Spending another 90 minutes sitting in a parking lot when we were that tired did not sound fun. Life isn't always ideal, but with a gas car this wouldn't be an issue.

Here in Sweden Tesla have a pretty cool cooperation with a Swedish hamburger restaurant (like McDonalds) with almost all of the restaurants having Tesla chargers. Not sure if they have that in other countries?

It's not TESLA that cooperates with the hamburger joints, it's the swedish government and the chargers are generic chargers for all electric vehicles, not only teslas.
It's Tesla ones, otherwise they would not say "Tesla" on them. The Swedish government would never cooperate with the joints and put Tesla ones. I'm sure that would go against the "Konkurrenslag" (Law of Competition?) if they support only Tesla chargers.
The restaurants have had generic ones for a long time. In 2014 Tesla and the restaurant chain started the cooperation, my city was one of the first to get them. You can google it if you want.

That Culver City supercharger spot is super busy because they have some of the cheapest electric rates off-peak. On Saturdays Tesla has to bring out the truck with the portable super chargers.

Not sure if you have or got one yet... But in your safe video I believe it was... someone had mentioned a "What's inside" episode featuring an LCD/big screen TV? Recently, happened to see a video from the DeFranco Fam (Philip DeFranco) where, their son, OOPS... hit the bottom right hand corner of the BIG screen. It put a small crack/shatter that made the pic odd in that area. They spoke about ordering a new one that would be delivered later in the week. Soooo, might have an otherwise perfectly good & quite recent big screen to grab for the channel; to see "What's Inside". =) Idk, just thinking great timing combined w/ a definitely cheap, if not 0 (esp. if they are getting rid of it anyway) = great opportunity? At one interesting point you should be happy with your car: you do something for your enviroment, more than a car with regulary fuel or another types of car :)
( here in europe is no big market for the electric car´s , because most think it´s cost too much than a gas car with regulary fuel, and there so less of Energystations. But i think, its a way for the future to handle with it..)

Damn...that Model X is very nice and it's electric. Honestly, I'm really considering an electric vehicle and I'm still hoping and waiting to see if or when Mercedes or Porsche starts making a vehicle to compete with Tesla. When that happens, I'm trading in my ML and Cayenne GTS not because of gas but want to go electric and solar for my new home.
