Very Beautiful!! I started mines a month ago with a loctican who is also a microloc wearer. She has me on a no oil, water, washing, no bonnets or silk pillowcases to speed locking up. All I do is braid and ban to sleep and never take it down wet (from sweat). Im so shocked at my growth in one month. Very exciting journey so far.
Your is beautiful. Uou give me hope, my hair is fine, limp, and a loose curl 3c/4a, and almost the same length. Please keep making videos. Enjoy the journey
I just made it to my 1 month mark.. and I noticed my roots are thicker. My hair is thin so I'm loving it. I'm wearing my hair down now. I can't wait to hit the 4 month mark. I actually started my locs myself.
Great progress! I would recommend that you avoid putting anything over your locs in their formative stages (1-2 years). Braids, extensions, faux locs could hinder your tips and ends from swelling. I watched a video of another TH-camr who did quite a few styles where she added hair to quench her style-itch in the beginning stages of her loc journey and now she regrets it. I know someone personally who has done the same and now regrets it. Make do with what you’ve already got.
Girl you did such a GREAT job!!!!!!!! I'm doing my research now in order to install my own sister locks then have a loctition tighten when needed. I'm thinking of just braiding them all instead of trying to lock from tip to root. Can we get a update on your hair journey?? Trying to see that ponytail girl!🙌🏽👏🏽
Try not stretching the length of your locs for a week to couple of weeks and see if that'll help with the thinning ends. I swear by rosewater honey....I'm also itching for coloring my locs...Great video💕
Keffi Wielingen yes, a lot of people do not want to touch them after you install them yourself. Definitely not a certified sisterloc consultant. The best thing is to find a trainee.
@@Awhitingaffair yes it is I am a Loctician for over 35 yrs and I support DIY'ERS. I hear this alot when folks come to my salon searching out maintenance care for their locs. You did a great job enjoy the hair freedom🥰 also a tip with ya rosewater mix try rosemary oil and nettle power growth mix I mix a rosemary, nettle, jojoba oil aloe vera juice and distilled water spray and enjoy the flow .
I just got mine done.... I feel bald, can't wait for some thickness. My ends aren't as secure and tight as yours, they are so frizzy I'm not liking it....will tell my loctician to tighten them on first retie. How can I maintain them now..........? Do I just leave them free??
I want to loc my hair but I'm scissors happy yet I'd like for my ends to remain curly, that being said, I'd like to know if I can trim my locs when it grows longer than I'd like for it to be? Btw your locs are totally gorgeous! ❤
Yesss that thickness and growth definitely came through!! I can't wait to hit the 1 month stage, let alone 4! I just passed 1 week lol
You will love it, happy that you are excited.
Yesss👌🏾

I love your hair! Our colors are similar and I can’t wait for my hair to be this long. I to decide to document my journey.

Yayyyyyy 4months they are so purdy
Did you trim your hair prior to starting your locs?
My ends are still have permanent color and they are dry and damaged.

How. How. How. How did your hair grow so fast??
It’s beautiful
Hello
How many Locs do you have?
Did you have difficulty finding a loctician since you installed yourself?
Keffi Wielingen yes, a lot of people do not want to touch them after you install them yourself. Definitely not a certified sisterloc consultant. The best thing is to find a trainee.
@@Awhitingaffair but thats dumb of them to refuse service just because you wanted to do your own

Yes, some people do this or comb and condition the ends to keep the aesthetic.
@@afrikurl good to know! I like the little curls at the ends too!
Hello, did you do a video on the hair style in your profile picture?
I will soon, I forgot to start recording when I did it but I will recreate it. Thanks
Lol...you meant jojoba oil. Thank God you showed the bottle, because I was confused.
