I beg to disagree the house nice yes but they are ALL THE SAME bedroom/bathrooms to the right and a big open rectangular space kitchen/living dining....how about a nice separate dining room where you can entertain or a nice separate lounge, where you can relax read and entertain. in this set up..if yu a fry fish or a pressure likkle cow foot..you cyaan hear the TV and the whole place smell a fry fish. for £180K/U$200k we need an extra living space. I'm sorry these are starter homes so the price should reflect that..(£70-90k or U$100k) because you gonna have to spend another £50-60k to get a nice family home smh..do Betta man
@@petertownsend2255 2022 no one want to be in a separate room, people now a days want an open concept, as for fry fish, and cow foot😄😄😄 if you cook all that stuff in your house, it’s going to smell no matter where you are.

This development is practically a giveaway with that land size you can build a bigger house in the back as the family house and use the front one as an AIRBNB.
This is the first small size house I've seen that I'm ok with the price. This is beautiful, finally someone really put thoughts into this development. Perfect open concept, and I love the kitchen. The bedroom frost doors are beautiful. Great job✌🏾
This is the first property that I find the property is really looks good. I would actually live in it.
This developer did their research. That's value for money. I hope it's a gated community based on the crime rate in Jamaica that would be very welcoming to preserve the community. Lovely presentation as always.

Spacious and love the back yard. I would extend the back patio with a pergola for seating, dining and BBQ grill. Add a lap pool and a vegetable/fruit garden

Bwoi, everytime I see these homes with flat roofing I always think that it would be a great idea to have solar included from the very start for thr customers, even a starter system.
There should be an option for energy independence for every new home being built.

People are complaining about the price but no one can build a two bedroom house like this with 6,000 square feet of land for less than 200,00US. This is a nice house, beautiful interior.

I really like how this unit looks for the price....I strongly petition NHT to take pointers from these developers on how to design a $30 million dollar home...
Wish I could get the finance and do a proper development… Theae should not cost more than 140,000 usd tops and I mean tops

Too expensive 30 odd mill for a 2 bed room in a country area must be a joke only foreigners who don’t know the value of things in Jamaica would buy it. It would be acceptable if the price was at least half that. Developers a gwaan too much this is overkill the value of the land all the scheme on prob add up to the 30 mill in them country area deh
Although I found the outside kinda bland (I didn't mind it though) I was pleasantly surprised with not only the size of the lot but also the set up of the inside. The kitchen space neva itch up itch up, di floor to ceiling bathroom door mirror a one nice touch and di bedroom dem actually have a decent size. I honestly really like this one, I think it's worth the 30 mill and I would definitively live in this and I don't say that about scheme units often!

I might be wrong but seems that the home is too low on the ground. One heavy rainfall and water flow right over the verandah into the living room.
What does " gated community" mean? I ask the question because I've seen some so called gated communities in jamaica that are questionable where the security fence is compromised and staff let their friends in putting residents at risk????? I know of one gc where burglary is commonplace, and this defeats the object. Also does the infrastructure include internet or will residents have to wait years for this?

I have come to the conclusion that all these housing developments are not geared towards honest hard working Jamaicans. It seems like the choppa and scammer lifestyle is the new way to go if you wanna live somewhere decent. I'm just saying 🤷

Finally someone said it. If you check even the cheapest NHT house the everyday Jamaican cannot even afford to pay the mortgage not including bills and food.

Nice but need to see from entrance of security gate around whole of development including where the communal pool and to see perimeter walls , how high are they? and where the cctvs cameras would be.

Where in Jamaica do we have the USA, I have no objection to the price, but why is quoted in US money, We need to price things in the currency of the country even if it is compatible with other countries currency. I like the design and layout of the units it is beautiful.

Even in Africa and the Caribbean Islands that what they do. Check world market, of their real estate market and you will see they do it all over the world. That's the way of life now. You not getting houses pricing in their local currency.
@@maureenwilliams5734 if you asked they will. But you know they going convert the price first. And even if they give you the local currency price and you do your own multiplation you would know the amount of money it is in the US currency.
Too many windows in the bedrooms. I love that in the master bedroom they put the walking closet in a room by itself. The space in the backyard is my favorite part and the open concept with the kitchen and living area.

This house is beautiful a bit sterile on the outside it actually put me in mind of a hospital or commercial site however inside is gorgeous.
Also am baffled by the roof because for the price a slab roof is on the cheap side.

Love the property very spacious but the price is a little too high for 1400 square feet, two bedroom, two bath. You guys are asking for 31 million Jamaican dollars for a two bedroom flat. That's 23 thousand dollars a square feet. Wow give poor people a chance. Am interested in buying a air bnb but this way too expensive for bad man west.
These communities are not built with poor people in mind. That is not how business works.
I actually like this. We need these in Kingston. Not the bag a house stack up on top a each other. House fi have yard space.
This is actually much better designed and far more practical than the garbage I see selling for US$1m up.

You did not make mention of the black water tank at the far rear of the house. How many gallons is it?
Does it come with a pump to pump the water in house?

I like the primary closet . . . . They could have put a window at the top at the far blank wall for extra natural light during the day.
Why are they selling in US $, Jamaicans do not earn in US $. They are certainly not marketed to Jamaicans for sure. You can't only cater to foreigners, Jamaica has sold out the whole of Jamaica to non Jamaicans. So sad to see this happening in my country.
Why you have think that way. Even a little ambitious waiter or waitress working at a hotel, used their little tips and saved it up and opened us account. If you are living in America, look how many immigrants from all race living there buying homes and opening up business, are you hearing the Native American, saying America is selling out. If you travel the world and using Airbnb and booking hotels etc, they code their price in USD and those countries people are not earning it USD. Just be merry ☺️ life is too short to take things so personal. God bless

What's the square footage of the house alone? Are appliances and lighting fixtures included? Is there a warranty in place if so for how many years? Is there a public beach near this location?

If Govt was to build a tiny house version of these on such an upscale level all over the island for the ones sleeping in or squatting in storage pens. What profounding effect it would make later in childhood trauma growing up on this level. All they have to do is use the cursor tool and scale it down a bit. Same house.

I always find it weird too. Currently the Jamaican real estate market is OBSESSED with standing showers (they have been for a for while too). It would be nice if more developers would mix it up with some nice bath tubs every now and again.

this is worth it! for the location, lot size and home size, just wow. Most of these homes are for 38 mil for these sizes which is a rip off. A but disappointed with the bathrooms though, for such a price, why are the bathrooms so mediocre in size?
If the developers could put these houses in another location, I would definitely buy one!

@@faith1614 My Opinion: I see Westmoreland to be one of the most dangerous parishes in Jamaica as they have high incidences of violent crime. I personally don't like the dynamic of the parish and even though gated communities are generally safe, you have to drive through and do business in the area. But then crime is everywhere and I wouldn't want to change your view. I would encourage you to visit and see if this is worth your while. But for my while, it's not.

200.000 jd for real,but asking same price in USD is bordering on usual criminality/ripping off you unsuspecting citizens,that is not a 200000 usd house,its small outside...dressed up inside still cant avoid the quashie look..Diaspora buying up condos and such in Kingston at some of the same ripp off teefin prices,even with the bad teef politicians and other criminals in abundance,people still love their granparents/parents homeland,but over pricing has to stop before some of us even think of it..
