I have endured these situations fifty years ago, various permutations of the same sloppy treatment. I even had to organize an agitation with the stranded passengers once, to get another flight put in operation which got done successfully. Since then I have never used Air India. This incident won't look trivial if you consider the fact that i was a first class pax in the international sector. Service sector in India has to go a long way before we can beat china in trade surplus..

ടാറ്റാ എടുത്തത് കൂടെ നന്നാകും എന്നാ കരുതിയെ എന്നാൽ ഇത്രക് കാൻസലേഷൻ, ഡിലേ ഒക്കെ വരാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത് ഈ ഏറ്റെടുപ്പിന് ശേഷം ആണ്. ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഫ്രീ ഫുഡ് കൂടെ നിർത്തി. ഉള്ളത് പറയണമല്ലോ 15th dec ഷാർജ ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് ഷെഡ്യൂൾഡ് ടൈമിനും 30 മിനിട്ട് നേരത്തെ കൊച്ചിയിൽ എത്തി😂

It is not only Air India. But I also experienced the flight cancelling and the confusion thereafter with Emirates and Qatar. We are very negative about our Airline
Gulf Air made us wait 9+ hours to give a direction at Manama airport (their hub of the local airline) for the flight which lasts only an hour, which, if we had driven would have taken 4 hours to reach the destination. Compared to that, Air India is much better.

Air India handled this better than most other Airlines. I had a bigger chaos when my British Airways flight was cancelled. But I never blamed the BA employees or BA. They were trying to deal with a tough situation and trying to find alternate flights for all their passengers.
This wasn't an airport with a huge Air India presence. Still they did a good job of arranging immigration, hotel, food and alternate flight.

I had same situation by airindia when I was travel to shj to cochin it was there final flight from shj they arranged us stay at 3 star shj hotel room next day morning we made final trip to cochin ites only after a fight with staff by passengers who had same problem of flight cancellations problem that evening by airindia they also gave us food correct time
HARI ,samething happend to us...in cochin airport...and our luggage came the very next day😮..AirIndia...😂..nasippichu..guys

ഞാനും, ടാറ്റയുടെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കലിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പുരോഗതി പ്രേതിഷിച്ചു, 15 വർഷത്തിനുശേഷം ലണ്ടൻ ട്രിപ്പ്‌ വ്യ ഡൽഹി ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്തു.
ലണ്ടൻ ഡൽഹി സെക്റട്ടറിൽ വെജിറ്ററിൻ ഫുഡ് കഴിഞ്ഞു,
പട്ടിണി യാത്ര.
യാതൊരു ഇന്റർടൈൻമെന്റ് ഇല്ലാതെ 7-8 മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ട ഒരു വലിഞ്ഞ യാത്ര
ഡൽഹിയിലെ അരാജകത്വം കാരണം കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കുള്ള എന്റെ യാത്രാ വിമാനം നഷ്ടമായി.
9 ദിവസം ലീവിലെ ഒരു ദിവസം ഡൽഹിയിൽ നഷ്ടമായി
ഒരു തുള്ളി പച്ചവെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെ 12 മണിക്കൂർ ഡൽഹിയിലും കിടന്നു
തുടർ യാത്രക്കായി 34000 രൂപ അടക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.
തുടർ യാത്ര മൂന്നു മണിക്കൂർ ഡിലെ ആയി
ഇത് കാരണം, എന്റെ രണ്ട് ട്രെയിൻ ടിക്കറ്റ് ക്യാൻസൽ ആയി.
വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്ത ലാൻഡിങ് സമയം പാലിക്കാതെ, തുടർന്നുള്ള ബസ് ടിക്കറ്റും ക്യാൻസൽ ആക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.
അങ്ങനെ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഇവിടെയും ഒരു ദിവസം നഷ്ടം.
ഇനിമേലിൽ ഞാൻ എയർ ഇന്ത്യക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യില്ല.
പൊതുവെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് കളിൽ കയറുമ്പോൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കാത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ നമ്മളെ ഒരു സംശയം പിടികൂടും ഇത് സമയത്തിന് പോകുമോ എന്ന്? വിമാനം പറന്നുയരുന്നത് വരെ ആ സംശയം നമ്മളെ വിടാതെ പിന്തുടരുകയും ചെയ്യും 😂😂😂
