When these -10’s were new there were at least 2 or 3 of them on EWR-LAX round trips. Now there’s only 1 Dreamliner a day on that route. Starts off in Newark, turns at LAX, ends in Newark. Hopefully that limited quantity changes for the better. It’s a highly competitive route and the UA 787 is a flagship product.
I remember those days; those were the good old days! At least UA has upgraded some of the 757 flights to 777s so there is still widebody polaris service on the route
@@The757Avgeek I think all except for 1 or 2 of the 757-200's have new seats and entertainment systems. There are about four 757-200's per direction on EWR/LAX. The downside is that two or three round trips on the EWR-LAX use the "maximum crammitude" 777-222's which do not have entertainment on demand and which have a first class cabin where numerous seats are facing backwards. Think there's currently one 777-200ER round trip on that route, which has the newer entertainment and seating arrangement.
