Man that play at 9:02. Doesn’t look like anyone messed up. Those routes were two on the left go out and 2 on the right go out. We have to get better at recognizing these types of situations in the pass game. Starts with coaches. Great analysis. SOMEBODY has to be hitting the middle on that play. It’s an easy pitch and catch TD if they do
Sorry bruh, Jahaon screwed up his route at the bottom. You NEVER have 2 WRs in the same space. Plus, my point was that there should've been a HOT route somewhere because of the blitz. If they blitz, run where they ain't!
There are a few more teams who will be watching from the couch this weekend. I'm betting they wish that their QB's "bad game" ended with 2 TDs and zero turnovers. Hurts could have been better for sure...but in my book a bad QB game involves at least a couple turnovers and usually results in a loss. I consider Hurts's performance last week to have been OK, but obviously good enough to win. Also have to credit GB's defense. They did a great job in coverage and mostly took Brown out of the game.
Jalen had a good game. The people want to see him throw for 300 yards and 4 TD, if he doesn't, they say he had a bad game, those people don't know football.
It's pretty sad that people don't understand football. They think Jalen was holding on to the football too long because he wanted to play Patty Cake!! THE ROUTES RUNNING WERE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Moore has to do a better job getting guys open. Go Birds!

I just need him to take care of the ball and make plays when we need him to. They scored and he immediately marched down the field to answer. People gotta chill.
Agreed. However, as a former player "fine" won't always cut it. 2 things can be true. He played "fine" but he needs to be "better". All of it IS NOT on him though. O-Line wasn't great at times and the Offensive scheme was puzzling some times.
@profantalk He completed 60% plus with 2TDs and no turnovers. If Jalen is clean Eagles usually win. The goal is to win. Not for the QB to throw for 300 yards. If 26 doesn't take a knee Eagles put up an easy 30 on a top 5 defense with a conservative game plan. Hurts will execute whatever is in front of him.
@Cgreat77 Hurts threw for 300 ran for 75 with 4TDs in the Superbowl and lost! Mahomes threw for 170 and won! Give me the win over stats every day of the week!

This is so frustrating to watch. Philly has the best roster in NFL and this pass game is flat out clunky, no creativity, average pass protection. 90% of the pass routes are all curls at the same yardage depth. Its hard to watch. The only thing thats exciting is waiting for Saquan to possibly rip off a big run
He will be fine…first game back in almost 3 weeks and he faced a top defense. Was pressured a lot and did not turn the ball over. Look what happened to quarterbacks (Herbert and Love) who consistently get ranked above him. People acting like he playing like Darnold.
17:50 in a perfect world. He rolls out and hits smitty towards the sideline behind that corner. But obviously that would be an insane play. No fault on hurts here. Don’t lil him taking that sack though.
Appears part of the problem is teams including smart teams with good coaches are figuring out our game plans esp on Offense. execution has to improve or throw in wrinkles You know what Fangio is gonna do he’s been doing it for years
Jalen takes so long to quit on a route that’s clearly covered. If he can go through his progressions faster he would be able to get the ball out earlier
The team needed to score early. Check They moved the ball on each of their last 4 possessions: 3 scores and a kneel down at crunch time. Check What was the problem again?

At the 12:15 mark yes smitty was open but Jalen should’ve went to saqoun on the wheel route with a backer in coverage and no safety help over the top. No brainer to me.
Ever since Nick has been coach, there's been an absolute lack of built in hot routes and hardly anything "quick passing" game. Idk how you don't throw to AJ on the slant when you know it's pretty much unstoppable. I feel like Hurts is only comfortable running the offense a certain way, doesn't seem like getting new OC's really changes much.
Quick passing game always miraculously comes back when a backup comes in. This is why people tend to believe jalen cant process quickly so they dont do it
At 10:29 aj needs to be the hot screen guys playing 10 yards off. make him make a play send the right side TE on in route or put him in place to potentially make a block.
No but he's not that good either .. without Saquon, if Hurts is forced to pass well there's your answer .. he aint no better than Dak Prescott or Brock Purdy .. puhlease
has anyone ever seen hurts look at a tablet or go talk to the WR or Lineman between drives?? i swear every shot you see he’s just sitting alone on the sideline instead of looking for ways to adjust what he’s doing.
Sirianni is getting his plays from Techmo Bowl. These are the same plays Brian Johnson got fired for. So who is really running the offense. So designed plays for taking advantage of the middle of the field is a constant problem with Sirianni's play(book)Sheet. The only sophisicated well designed area of the offense is the offensive line play.
I like the fake Philly shove to AJ even though it didn’t work. It’s now on tape & teams need to prepare for it. Plans within plans… 😎 Btw, just subscribed. Really like ur work, thx
After watching this video, I am pissed with JALEN HURTS, worst off his STOIC FACE in the podium is even more annoying. The EAGLES need to get an older experienced OC who is not interested in HC job to stabilize the offense for the next couple of years. Changing OCs every year is BS......................
8:32 I guess we don’t see goedert? I guess he’s not a viable option on this play. You don’t HAVE to attack the inside. You can attack low and out side. The same way the did later in the game for a touchdown. They definitely ran wrong routes over there. But still, they ten yards off of goedert and aj. Plus number 7 on the defense drops into the middle zone right in front of Devonta
bro dnt 22 personnel means ttwo running back two tight ends. i thought the first numer is the number of running backs an secon number is the number of tight ends so 22 personnel would be two running backs an two tight ends. 1 running back 2 tight end is 12 personnel
Yes, but it can mean different things in different places. 2RBs + 2TEs OR 2 Left, 2 Right, OR What happens when you remove a TE and add a Slot WR but in the same formation? You're not wrong but there are 100s of ways to do it based on who's coaching.
Jalen wasn't perfect but he was far better than people gave him credit for. The offensive scheme was awful this game and GB completely sniffed out just about everything

There is no "mainly". You look at each play individually, then at the end you tally up mistakes. One mistake can ruin a great game. One great play can overcome 4 quarters worth of mistakes. Most of the mistakes you can't see on a broadcast.
I’ll say this. In the SB loss to the chiefs. Who outplayed who? Jalen did and we loss. Mahomes had passing 182 yards and 3 TD’S Jalen had 304 passing yards and 4 total TD’s. Yet the chiefs won the game. My point is Mahomes made the plays when needed. Same thing Jalen did this game. So what we rather have. Him throw for 304 3 TD’s and we lose or 131 2TD’s and we win
That 3rd where they sent like 7 in and got to hit quick was a shift . He was 6/6 and then missed his next 7 or 8. Outside themselves, GB is by far the best def in the NFC . Breakdown the Rams game last night.. Minnesota (once again) beat themselves. Prayers for Nakobe, huge loss, but i feel the Eagles should win the NFC.
21:30 in 2022 Jalen would have let the deep ball fly right up the hash to about the GB 35-30. Way riskier, way more reward. I think he's capable of the throw, but taking off running is a safe choice, barring another concussion.
There is either something still going on with his knees or ankles as he seems to have lost a step. He does not run with the speed and maneuverability that he once had. Josh Allen, Lamar and even Mahomes are running better than him. We gotta figure out why he’s missing a step.
@@profantalk agreed would never say Hurts is better overall but the amount of criticism for a QB with his record is un fathomable. And I wonder does race play into this

It was all in all, a bad game. Defense held us together. Im still excited to see how the offense looks after a full week of practice together with full participation
I don't agree it was a bad game, that was a top 5 defense, but there's room for improvement
Don’t lil him taking that sack though.
agreed
21:35 smart play by hurts. Prolly could bomb it too AJ? Saftey didn’t seem to concerned lmao
Appears part of the problem is teams including smart teams with good coaches are figuring out our game plans esp on Offense. execution has to improve or throw in wrinkles
You know what Fangio is gonna do he’s been doing it for years
Eagles O-Line was pulverized on Sunday
(Edit): They didn't do what you said they should do (with the first three plays)
Jalen takes so long to quit on a route that’s clearly covered. If he can go through his progressions faster he would be able to get the ball out earlier
The team needed to score early. Check
They moved the ball on each of their last 4 possessions: 3 scores and a kneel down at crunch time. Check
What was the problem again?
Sir can we connect and talk film together! Thank you for posting this. I love for this. I have so many things I want to put out here and type out and talk about to go along with what you have to say as well. Let me know if you ever want to do a duo on some film.
This is why people tend to believe jalen cant process quickly so they dont do it
3:10 is how I feel when the eagles does that screen pass
Judging by how smitty put his hands up in 9:30 I wanna say it was on him
At 10:29 aj needs to be the hot screen guys playing 10 yards off. make him make a play send the right side TE on in route or put him in place to potentially make a block.
No but he's not that good either .. without Saquon, if Hurts is forced to pass well there's your answer .. he aint no better than Dak Prescott or Brock Purdy .. puhlease
Why does everyone say that like he didn't take us to a SB two years a go? When he wasn't supposed to be good enough then either.🤷♂
He was forced to pass vs Pittsburgh
has anyone ever seen hurts look at a tablet or go talk to the WR or Lineman between drives?? i swear every shot you see he’s just sitting alone on the sideline instead of looking for ways to adjust what he’s doing.
IMO, that is Jalen's biggest hinderance.
Don't disagree
27:25 they didn’t sniff it out. He rolled left out of Play action for the first time this season lmao
Kellen gotta cut the BS this not the time to be doing basic plays. This won’t cut it next week
Markus, lmk if I’m right, but didn’t Green Bay play a great defensive game?
GB has a top 5 defense for a reason.
No, it’s not that Hurts was that bad, it’s that he wasn’t that good either.
bro dnt 22 personnel means ttwo running back two tight ends. i thought the first numer is the number of running backs an secon number is the number of tight ends so 22 personnel would be two running backs an two tight ends.
5:00 you throw that screen with intention of going for it on 4th down…
Bro come on bro.
They didn’t know our plays. 5:58 the dude watches Jalen throw it and chases the ball. The orlovsky shit getting out of hand. They didn’t know our plays people were open
@@SwaggyTdot You must not understand game plans. No they don’t know ALL of our plays but every team has tells based on down and distance, formation and personell. It is not as hard as you think to predict pass, runs, screens or reverses. That’s why teams watch film.
@@profantalkI get it. Your right. They can tell tendencies and make plays. Which is our coaches fault. But I’m saying, that player made a good play there. Not too bad of a play call. Plus I think Jalen needs to get that out a little faster man
HE CAN GET IT FASTER IN SOME THROWS BUT DAN WAS RIGHT I WATCH IT IN LIVE ON MY MULTI SCREEN TV AND I SAID THE SAME THING IT LOOKS LIKE THEY KNEW OUR PLAYS AND THE PLAYS THAT LOOK OPEN WASN'T IT WAS BAIT PLAYS ....DO U KNOW WHY THE 40 TIMES ARE SO IMPORTANT....THEY BREAKING SPEAD IN A LIVE GAME IS RIDICULOUS.....
💪🦅💪🏈💪🦅💪
15:18 checkdown to Saquan Barkley.
If people watched the game and reply a lot of snaps. There wasn't any place for Jalen to throw the ball. Nobody was getting open most of the time. And the trash play calling didn't help either
Like when he missed the wide open throw to brown on the fake tush push? People are open cut the bs. You expect players to be wide open every pass in the nfl? Thats why qbs throw with anticipation and timing. This is elementary
@@drizzle27 @drizzle27 You people hate hurts because he's great at an early point in his career. Let's talk about how Justin Herbert threw 4 picks in that first round exit 😩. Let's talk about how trash Darnold played in that first round exit 😩. Let's talk about veteran Aaron Rodgers that has all those good players around him and how terrible he looked this past season 😩. If Hurts wasn't the QB the eagles wouldn't have been this successful since he's been in the starting position, now disappear crybaby fan 😂
@@drizzle27 Rewatch the game I have it on my DVR. People were covered not scrambling to get open while pass rushers were in Hurts face multiple occasions. You must be blind hater. Probably have all Jalen Hurts sports attire 🫵🏾😂
So its was mainly either bad play calling or the O Line
There is no "mainly". You look at each play individually, then at the end you tally up mistakes. One mistake can ruin a great game. One great play can overcome 4 quarters worth of mistakes. Most of the mistakes you can't see on a broadcast.
@profantalk well I guess I say that considering most automatically blamed Hurts for all of it.
11:35 hurts fan
Id say saquan was open here but i dont know the sittuation in tge game atp
Packers defense were well coached
They keep playing like that on offense they won't make it to the Superbowl.
Agreed
There is either something still going on with his knees or ankles as he seems to have lost a step. He does not run with the speed and maneuverability that he once had. Josh Allen, Lamar and even Mahomes are running better than him. We gotta figure out why he’s missing a step.
Cause he got his bell rung !
@ no that’s not it. He hasn’t been the same since two years ago. Last year was the knee but I think there is still something lingering with it.
Can someone point out why Hurts was a better passer than Mahomes in the Super Bowl? I’ll wait. Maybe that was a fake Jalen Hurts I guess
I wouldn't say better passer but ON THAT DAY he was the better QB. Doesn't mean Mahomes isn't better.
@@profantalk agreed would never say Hurts is better overall but the amount of criticism for a QB with his record is un fathomable. And I wonder does race play into this
25:34 offschedule bomb to AJ?
Make's me sick watching this! Jalen doesn't see the field. But why??
@@chrisking9424 Not always the case but we’ll find out next week
114 qbr is bad now?
@@dach829 Not at all but clearly there is more to it than that.
@profantalk i know
Haters
In that fake Brotherly shove. I would have liked to see them roll out to the left as if he’s running and then set his feet and throw it to AJ. Have a guard or two roll with him for protection. That play pissed me off watching it when we have a tank in Saquon for 3rd and 1. Stupid play
26:20 go ball 50/50
Jordan Love had the bad game not Jalen
I just subscribe to channel... love your work
22:51 ball should be out quicker.
And should be accurate.
Slow ass hitch bruh
Those are nick sirianni plays… tired of those variations of the bubble screen of his that havent worked since he got here… & if your are going to run that go heavy on that side & throw it to aj instead of overthinking it & attempting to be cute.
I really believe Jalen Hurts is the weak link on this team although there were bad play calls there were also plays to be made an Jalen Hurts has been doing this all year 😡😡😡
@liquidswords5353 You're not even an Eagles fan so your opinion means little
You sound stupid
All of career.
Dude stop
He's been like this ever since Steichen left. He just doesn't seem to improve much.
