I wish you had not focused mostly on plakat bettas. I had to skip through most of the video to see non plakat bettas. The few that you showed at the end were very beautiful.
Most of the bettas in this video a have the marble gene (including the 'koi' bettas) which means their markings are not stable-coloration and shape of markings will change with time. While they may look stunning now in a few months they can look completely different. Which is a shame and why I tend not to get marbles anymore. 6:11 C42, 6:45 C46 So stunning and more stable-C46 may get a bit more red spread in tail but won't become solid red.
There's a technique to stop them from developing new colors. As we do it here in Asia, we put IAL on the water to boost their colors and make them feel like it's their natural habitat, but not adding IAL and just strictly putting water and probably some salt too and let them be used to that type of water can stop the betta from forming new coloration.
