i love when jimin and taehyung harmonize more than anything else… you will be able to see them harmonize more on their subunit song called “Friends” that jimin wrote for map of the soul: 7. they basically sing about how they view each other as soulmates, it’s so heartwarming 😭 (fun fact: “Friends” was included in a marvel movie, it was so so nice you can imagine how the theaters all over the world went bananas when they heard it)

It's not a green screen. They rented out the Gyeongbok Palace (in the middle of the night) which is the main royal palace from the Chosun dynasty. It's located right in the center of downtown Seoul near city hall. 😊💜

That jimmi fallon performance was pre recorded. That was during pandemic. They did everything from korea. And that's not a green screen bro.. you know kpop barely use green screen🤣 and that's the palace of korea. The one they use in kdramas and all. That is a heritage of SK. They love their culture and they still maintain and protect their history.
They performed it during pandemic era, and because of that we got the performance at any stage. Like this one, it's not a CGI, it's one of Korea's palace I guess as I can remember... Let me search it, Will comeback later 👍

The Jimmy Fallon one was filmed at a location in Korea. It's a historic building.
Festa is their annual celebration of their debut in June. They release a bunch of extra content, special dance practices, performances, and Unofficial tracks. This was the special release for Festa in 2021. The recording of the final performance of Mikrokosmos during the Love Yourself, Speak Yourself Tour from 2019. This was actually their very last concert until the PTD ones in 2021, though they didn't know it at the time. I believe the full concert is available for purchase on Weverse, if I'm not mistaken. BTS has bts festa every year for a week that leads upto their debut anniversary which is june 13th. so festa includes new songs by members for armys or just a lot of fun activities and their anniversary concert if they do it which is like fanmeeting concert is called bts muster. you have seen some muster performances like for ddaeng and dimple and pied piper etc. Bighit posts a lot of old videos too on festa so this is a live video from their last concert in seoul during 2019 and its a special one since this was the last time they saw armys like this before the pandemic

festa is like a festival that starts from june 1st to june 13th, every year it is done to celebrate bts debut anniversary, on those days the boys give us various content like photos from past years, behind the scenes, songs and much more

They look super happy because they were filming in a special place - a monument, a palace (there is a bangtan bomb for all fallon performances 2020: Black Swan, Home, Mikrokosmos, Idol ^^) AND they got confirmation that Dynamite got to #1 for a 2nd week in Billboard HOT100 ^^ They even called Bang PD to be sure of the news. Such a sweet moment!
It was all live LOL and the drones and everything. They performed again there for a Butter and PtD performance last year. They were in the street looking so handsome!
Just FYI, the last performance you watched wasn't from the Festa, just that the performance video was released for free for Festa, because during festa they release a bunch of different content. Gyeongbokgung Palace once served as the principal palace of the Joseon Dynasty and today represents one of the best places to visit in Seoul.
There are 5 official Royal Palaces in Seoul, with Gyeongbokgung being the biggest and most striking.
Gyeongbokgung Palace was originally built in 1395 and served as the main palace for King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, until 1592 when it was tragically burnt to the ground thanks to the Japanese invasion.
Gyeongbokgung can be translated as meaning “brilliance and fortune” and reflects the intentions and wishes of why King Taejo ordered the palace’s creation - so the dynasty could thrive and prosper.
After the 1592 fires, the palace lay in ruins for over 270 years until 1867 when a huge restoration project began. Unfortunately the Japanese occupation (1910-1945) caused yet more significant damage to the palace, where it is estimated that up to 90% of the restored buildings were destroyed.

The notation in the top right of the second live Mikrokosmos isn't when the stage actually happened. The Mikrokosmos performance was from the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour (one of the Seoul dates). The "FESTA" title is actually because the video itself, not the performance, was released during 2021's FESTA. It's part of a whole video/photo release during that event time.

Heyyy Dewet!!!! the jimmy live performance from live from Korea..due to covid they could not perform it America in front of everybody, so they just recorded the performace at that palace. ( mostly performaces which you will see now from the year 2020 and 2021 are in this format, RECORDED and not in front of a live audience due to covid).
.....ANDD the live performance that you saw was not from the 2021 festa( Festa is like a festival and celebration, each year they celebrate on their anniversery on 13th june)....so this performance is from there speak yourself tour back in 2019 in seoul (their last destination for the tour) so they became very emotional and also this was their last performance in concerts before covid, in front of armys.. after this covid shit..,.they were not able to perform in front of a live audience and could not see armys live for almost 2 years... so they become very depressed, their map of the soul world tour got cancelled and all of their schedules which they worked hard for got cancelled. so later they released BE album to express their feelings about the situation and lockdown( A total masterpiece, they were TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY involved in making process of the BE album from producing to directing and everything) so on 2021 festa, their 8th anniversery they uploaded this performace from 2019, which is very special for bts and armys as this was their last time performing live in front of armys and just hoping for a reunion as soon as possible when the situation becomes safe.
