It is "A" certified film by censor board. What that means is that, censor board assumes that people who watch the film are mature enough(Adults) not to be influenced by it, nor react to it by preaching others what they should do. It goes both ways.

even in the film pudupettai , kokki kumar does a lot of out of the line kinda stuff through out the movie be it marrying his friend's sister when he already has a wife , threatening to burn his wife's family in court .... and the director plays his conscience will kumar gets back the karma nearing the movie end , where his wife is killed and his baby's life is at stake and runs for his life too .. the dialogue " romba aadakudathu paa " acts as a chef's kiss from selva, giving a not so cool end to his egotistic lifestyle and making him realise his mistakes...

My own personal experience....Someone who I thought to be a good friend suddenly started behaving all strange and talking crap just like in the movie, or rather he started living as the character as he too has a rich father and lived like a don back home (Delhi). He spoke rubbish with me over the phone on what all crap he wants to do to me... it took me a few of days to come out of that trauma. This video should be an eye opener to many. Lot of respect to what you do.

I guess the director is an alpha male in real life and he is influencing others which is an absolutely wrong concept. Many people are thinking cinemas won't influence. But actually people are getting influenced by a wrong concept from a movie rather than good.
The problem in India is that a lot of theatres just let kids into Adult movies. Children and teenagers shouldn't be seeing such movies. Animal's success will motivate directors to make even more violent movies and more children will see it. A violent youth or a brigade of children brought up by watching such movies is the last thing India wants. I can accept Bobby Deol’s character to be evil, but the hero being worse than the villain is unacceptable. For a second I felt happy when Rashmika’s character leaves him but she also changes her decision. Hope at least in Animal Park the “hero” gets the punishment he deserves for his actions and attitude.
There is a concept called "anti -Hero" .. kids definitely would't be able to tell the difference between an "anti-hero" lead character and "heroic" lead character. Hence the "A" certificate. morals? when was the last time a main lead of the film killed less people that villains in an action genre?

The title of that movie suggests "Animal." Right after a huge adrenaline rush and a dopamine surge in the interval scene, when he fires, he loses his sense of normal human behavior. All of the male characters in this film are designed more like animals than displaying normal behavior. Each male character in this film does not care about the others; that's the plot. even in the film pudupettai , kokki kumar does a lot of out of the line kinda stuff through out the movie be it marrying his friend's sister when he already has a wife , threatening to burn his wife's family in court .... and the director plays his conscience will kumar gets back the karma nearing the movie end , where his wife is killed and his baby's life is at stake and runs for his life too .. the dialogue " romba aadakudathu paa " acts as a chef's kiss from selva, giving a not so cool end to his egotistic lifestyle and making him realise his mistakes...
I have a huge respect for u sir for openly pointing these toxic scenes, even though u know some immature men glorify these and made it a huge success ....i appreciate u sir

Thanks for speaking out Madan. This movie is definitely a bad influence. My own personal experience....Someone who I thought to be a good friend suddenly started behaving all strange and talking crap just like in the movie, or rather he started living as the character as he too has a rich father and lived like a don back home (Delhi). He spoke rubbish with me over the phone on what all crap he wants to do to me... it took me a few of days to come out of that trauma.

The problem in India is that a lot of theatres just let kids into Adult movies. Children and teenagers shouldn't be seeing such movies. Animal's success will motivate directors to make even more violent movies and more children will see it. A violent youth or a brigade of children brought up by watching such movies is the last thing India wants. Yes, there is nothing wrong in making such movies but a big amount of people still aren't educated enough to watch such movies and not let it impact their life and behaviour.

Well said Madan! I too enjoyed the theatre experience but later felt what the hell did I see. I can accept Bobby Deol’s character to be evil, but the hero being worse than the villain is unacceptable. For a second I felt happy when Rashmika’s character leaves him but she also changes her decision. Hope at least in Animal Park the “hero” gets the punishment he deserves for his actions and attitude.
There is a concept called "anti -Hero" .. kids definitely would't be able to tell the difference between an "anti-hero" lead character and "heroic" lead character. Hence the "A" certificate.

Unfortunately, we live in an era where cinema is not consumed as recreation.
It’s also a worrying sign that most people have a weak moral compass to judge what they see on screen and get easily influenced by it.
Glorifying stars, paying them crazy sums of money and giving them demigod status is also not helping.

The title of that movie suggests "Animal." Right after a huge adrenaline rush and a dopamine surge in the interval scene, when he fires, he loses his sense of normal human behavior. All of the male characters in this film are designed more like animals than displaying normal behavior. Each male character in this film does not care about the others; that's the plot. If you don’t have that vision to understand the movie don’t bash it online.
