The committee should be ashamed and embarrassed for letting in this pathetic team.
Ya like why would they even let Purdue in?

UVA was awful. They stole a bid from someone.
Seton hall or St. John’s.
@@MichaelCurry-tj1lo100% Indiana State. The highest NET ranking to not make the cut

Indiana state
This is proof that Virginia should've had no place in the bracket
So u made vergina loss 😂
@@cornell833probably lose from your poor spelling lol
ACC down bad
This is proof that the Mountain West is way stronger than the committee gave it credit for.
This also proves St Johns deserved to be in and mountain west teams were seeded disrespectfully
It’s got to be an annual recurrence that Virginia sells every march madness
They either go all the way or go nowhere

🤔 So NCAA, Virginia is what a tournament team looks like?! Strike 1 on the selection committee!⚾
What’s strike 2?
Most likely 3/21 at 4:30 ET when Nevada destroys 7-seed Dayton. I don't think anyone knows why they got a 7 seed.@@chazztreat8317

So are we all gonna admit now that the MWC got shafted?
Right now they are 1-4 in tournament.
I can name about 15 other bubble teams that would’ve given us a great game today
I’ll name 15 right now
Oklahoma, Indiana State, St John’s, Pitt, Seton Hall, Wake Forest, Kansas State, Villanova, Providence, Cincinatti, South Florida, Memphis, Syracuse, Utah, and Loyola Chicago.

Virginia had no business being in the field to begin with. 14 points in the first half? Really??? What is this, a high school JV game?
i was watching it with people and we described it as “a middle school girls team masquerading as a college men’s team”
They was out there playing like they had nothing but walk ons 😂😂😂
@@mrcarterfx885Kind of like CSU in first half against Texas.
@@noglu106 Yes11 points. That is why the MWC should not have had 6 teams.
The real JV game was East Regional final. How do you get outscored 30-0 at that level?
Iowa football and Virginia basketball cured my insomnia
I feel like it’s safe to say ANY team currently in the NIT would’ve fought harder than UVA tonight😅 I mean just look at the scores in the NIT just from tonight , more determination and heart by a landslide.
UVA shouldn’t have even been there in the first place
why was virginia here
Getting that favorable treatment I guess from the committee
Proof that the Mountain West teams were all ranked too low
💯
🎯
We'll still show em!
Go lobos. But yes all MW teams had good records all low seeding
Nevada choked and CSU beat the UVA halftime total with 11 stinking points. Seeding is correct.
This Aztec fan would like to congratulate CSU on a convincing win and representing the University, the MWC, the team and staff with class! Well done!
Virginia sold their soul for the 2019 title.
That’s the first and last time that Tony Bennett had a talented team. Why would a high level recruit want to play in that type of program? UVA should not have gotten a tournament bid. They are a boring and virtually unwatchable team and they haven’t won an NCAA tournament game in four years.
JUST LIKE YOUR
SORRY PENGUINS🤣
Facts. The refs won at least 4/6 of those games for uva too
@@thomasreed9560 hahaha where are they???? i see hunter play when he not hurt. anyone seen the great guy n jerome???? haha come on now. no where in sight
Auburn got robbed in 19.
This was a mixture of two teams that didn’t deserve to be 10 seeds for different reasons. Colorado St is a legitimately talented team with one of the best point guards in the country going against one of the worst Virginia teams in a looooong time, they shouldn’t have even made it into this tournament. Honestly wish I had seen Indiana State in this spot instead, would have been a nailbiter for sure
That Colorado State pass from the three-point to wide-open in the paint was just BOOM
Bro THANK GOD Virginia did not make the tournament this is hands down the most prehistoric basketball I’ve ever seen man. Nobody wants to see that
They technically still did make the tournament and stole a spot from St. John’s or seton hall or Indiana state but at least csu got a free win
This was a tournament game
This is the tournament. And you're right, nobody wanted to watch this.
@@doc8013true but I don’t really count the first four cuz you don’t make the official bracket until you win this game

Virginia needed to be in the NIT
They probably wouldn't have won a game either
as a UvA fan I have tremendous respect for CSU... hope they go far into the tournament. tough loss but you really can't win when you can't score
I don't know how the committee didn't see this in their last games. They barely got 40pts
Virginia still plays basketball from the era before the shot clock and 3 pt line. Gotta modernize.
Cant believe Indiana state lost a spot to a team like that
Go MWC. Go Rams!
They can now. Go home.
I love the grit and fundamental play from CSU
Particularly in the paint
Everybody in this comment section scored as many points as UVA did in the last 9 minutes of the first half 😂
As a UVA fan congrats to Colorado State they played a excellent game and deserved to win tonight. We didn’t finish where we wanted but we’ll be back next year. Good luck to Colorado State and GO HOOS 🔵🟠⚔️ #ncaa #2019 #champs
This Is Gonna Be A Good Matchup, #7 Texas Longhorns Vs #10 Colorado State Rams.
I have Texas winning but CSU definitely could do it
My personal ranking system puts CSU above Texas. MWC is strong this season. Go Rams!
Ignore the clown seeding this year, CSU's a much better team than Texas they should easily be the favorites. MWC in general got disrespected completely by the seeding, the only teams they lost to were other MWC teams. Ranked teams from other conferences got smacked
@@JSauer21 San Diego state did lose to Grand Canyon lol
@@JSauer21Yes the seeding was correct. Couldn't even top UVA point total in first half against Texas. Real impressive.
Colorado St Gonna Upset Texas In The 1st Round.
Wouldn’t call it an upset but they will win
Texas will beat col st

Man I hope so
@jasonallred244 you seem to forget that CSU beat #11 Creighton by 21 points. The same Creighton that beat UCONN by 19.
Colorada St. realistic is a 7 seed, Boise St. a 7 seed, Utah St. a 5 seed, SDSU a 6 seed, New Mexico a 8 seed and Nevada a 6 seed, but the committee thought otherwise........
SDSU 5, Utah St 7, Nevada 8, Boise St 9, CSU 9, New Mexico 10 imo
I see it as this: Utah State 6, Nevada 7, San Diego State 7, Boise State 9, New Mexico 9, CSU 10
@@lonzoballcandoitall4132 fair enough I’m probably overrating SDSU
Neither of these teams should have even been here. CSU should have been a 9 seed and Virginia should have been at least eight spots from the cutoff.
Indiana state and Oklahoma were absolutely robbed and Virginia proved it tonight.
I'd personally give the slot to St. John's or Seton Hall instead of Indiana State (that loss to Illinois State proved costly), but you're spot on about Virginia.
@@dogg-paws would have been fine with St John’s as well
Oklahoma was not a good team at all, no robbery there. St John's would have beaten this Colorado St team by double digits.
@@jasonlawson8980OU doesn’t have a single Q3/Q4 loss, and they have a win against Iowa State. They were definitely worthy but I would have taken Indiana state first
Indiana State or Pitt should have made it
good to know my favorite yearly tradition of laughing at UVA remains consistent
It felt like Colorado St. was ln cruise control all night cause UVA was making no shots....surprised UVA made it into the tournament based on their performance.....Colorado ST. is a good team and has a chip on its shoulder, just like Boise right now and they are not the best teams in the MWC this yr
This is the thing that Virginia always struggled with. They have been a great defensive team, but they’re very limited offensively with their playmaking. Until Tony Bennett find some offensive players that can score the ball, they’ll always fail in the tournament
They should take after my Aztecs. We play hard defense but we got legit scorers too.
Uva still living off 2019.
At first, I was sad that I had to miss this due to work, but now I realized that I missed nothing. I can’t believe the selection committee actually thought Virginia was a better option than Indiana State
Indiana State would have been a nice addition, but Viginia? Why?
Many teams were more deserving than Virginia.
Mountain West is the most competitive conference in the country. Theyre going to be good for years to come
UVA is boring and slow. Should have been Indiana State Sycamores in the NCAA Tournament.
I don't see how they will ever recruit good players anymore now. No kid wants to go do that style of offense anymore
Should’ve been Indiana State
CSU over Texas I'm calling it now.
This was one of the worst march madness gams I've seen.
yep....UVA was totally over matched by CSU defense and UVA bricks...CSU didnt even really have to do too much on offense....and that team can put up some points
This is up there with last year’s Pitt vs Iowa State game
Guess you don't watch 1-16s then huh? Tune into our first game on Thursday; I think you're gonna see a similar result
@@depressedchargersfan8061 Yep, in terms of a game in which we expected to be close. But, that was a 6-11 upset; the better team played sooooo bad. This one was even in terms of who the better team was. The Pitt Iowa State was def the more surprising but both were extremely unentertaining to say the least
@@FlyIlliniFlyactually the 16s will usually put up more than 14pts lol🤣🤣🤣
Virginia had 14 points 9 minutes left in the first. 14 points 4 minutes into the 2nd half. Let that sink in.

Bro DePaul would’ve put up a better fight lol
UVA should’ve been in the NIT
They had a strong start to the season. But flopped at the end! Pitt and even Wake was hands down better at the end

Lobos fan here. Way to go Colorado State! Now take out Texas.
Aztecs fan here, lets go Mountain West! Lets do some damage!💪💪💪
USU Aggie here. Great job CSU!
The one thing I hate about bball highlights vs football highlights, these only show points scored. I wanna see some blocks, I wanna see what’s happening on the other side of the court.
CSU scored 14 points at the 10:55 mark. Virginia has 9 points at this point. they score 5 more points this half to reach 14, at once they scored 14 (around the 5:30 mark of game time), they don't score a basket til about the 16:40 mark of the 2nd half. CSU had 42 point, the amount virginia scored all game, at 12:50 left in the game. Virginia look absolutely awful offensively, and basically proved they shouldn't of been here at all.
I will NEVER understand why Virginia was in the tournament. I would've much rather had either St. Johns or some other team here. How do you let a team that consistently fails to score 50 points in a game get into the NCAA tournament?
#10 Colorado State will face #7 Texas in Charlotte on Thursday 6:50pm on TNT in the Midwest Region
Clifford seems like an NBA player to me. This tournament gives these kids the chance to shine and make it to the pro level.
Mountain State wins in the Tourney. Nice job Colorado State.
Had to be the best quote “first team to 10 wins”
lol.
Virginia went 12:43 game time without scoring a single point bridging the end of the 1st half and the start of the 2nd half, that has to be a tournament record.
The Biggest Upset or The Worst game of former 2019 National Champion in MARCH MADNESS HISTORY
Teams like yale deserved a higher rank than teams like Virgina... ive never seeen a team miss so many shots..
After their upset loss vs. Furman last year, the committee should've learned to give up hope on this one-year wonder program. What a joke of a First Four matchup.
GO RAMS!!!
It's hard to believe the Cavs would ice up in the middle of the first half.
S/O Nique Clifford putting on from Colorado Springs 💪🏾
All these people acting like UVA is the problem when CSU just got seeded way too low and would demolish any play-in team...
Well Virginia absolutely did not deserve to be in.
there are high school offenses more productive than virginias

Sorry to say, but Virginia sold their soul for the 2019 title.

UVA equals taking unders 😂 for this game it was 121.5
The selection committee did a massive disservice to the Mountain West. CSU should've been at least a 7, and UVA shouldn't have been here at all. There are at least a dozen other schools which deserved a spot more than UVA.
I just watched colorado state run the same play in the 2nd half like 6 straight time 😂😂😂😂😂
I can’t believe Virginia really went like an hour without scoring a single point
the committee killed Indiana State for this game.
I Feel Bad For Virginia
I knew that UVA’s offense was not good, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this terrible…
They should just ban Virginia from March Madness no matter what their record is just because their basketball is the most unenjoyable, torture basketball anyone has ever seen.
There are torture methods milder than forcing someone to watch Virginia basketball
Virginia got in over St Johns and Oklahoma? lol
I cant stand watching virginia basketball, how do they have fans? Its horrible to witness
I like the old thumbnail design better in my opinion.
I don’t even see how they were a 10 seed ?!!
Yall found highlights for this game?
I love Mich St. and N. Car but Let not make this a pity party!
UVA hasn’t been the same since they lost to UMBC
Except the next year the won the national championship. AFTER that, yes, they haven't been the same since
CSU is going to give Texas problems. Especially if they go cold from 3.
Virginia look like they were running a hockey defensive play when you're down a man and just try not to let the other team score.
wheres cody williams? is he injured?
Virginia Same Ol' Story. Gets Knocked Out the 1st Round Like In 2018 & 2023.
I don't know why everyone is saying Virginia was so bad. Colorado State was so good! Go RAMS!
Even dough Virginia Loss the way they did, that post up turnaround fadeaway jump shot by Ryan Dunn was sweet that was a Professional move he did.🏀
Virginia has had problem scoring the ball and last night proved it.
March Madness Heat On Me
UVa is a prime example of why they need better people on the Committee, ie, people who love and understand the game and are willing to watch hundreds of games to see who is playiing at a high level. The flawed NET/Quad system and so-called advanced metrics that reward teams for running up the score has given us a lazy Selection Committee that doesn't bother to watch games and has no idea who is actually playing well. They used to take into account "how you finished", and that certainly would have eliminated UVa. They haven't passed the eye test for months.
Indiana State was much more deserving than Virginia, no question about it. Unfortunately the committee seems to always have their bias with their brands, it happened back in 2016 when Syracuse had no business being in the tournament much less being a #10 seed and going to the Final Four that year.
@@lakerskid2013 With so many players now playing longer because they're getting NIL money and with players not satisfied with being subs and leaving top programs, it has created a situation where mid-majors can succeed. Loyola and FlaAtl have recently made it to the FF. Indiana St should have been in. No doubt, the Committee has generally favored big-name universities for ratings.
However, I'm not buying that Syracuse benefitted by a brand name in 2016, The NCAA has never been kind to Syracuse, slapping them with suspensions and vacated wins for things that the blue bloods do every year only 10x worse. I think it was 2010 when they were snubbed with a resume that had never been snubbed in the past for any BE school. Moroever, they rolled into the Sweet 16 and beat Gonzaga and UVa, so they certainly belonged in 2016. That was one they got right.
Yeah not agreeing with that one, syracuse making the final 4 kind of contradicted your argument@@lakerskid2013
@@controlleddemolition9112 Syracuse did benefit from it. Good on them for taking advantage of it and making a run. But the consensus was they shouldn’t have been there
It's not as bad as in 2018 when #1 Virginia lost to #16 seed UMBC. Bennett might be looking for a new school.
The NCAA selection committee wants to see - The Ol, Michigan State vs North Carolina - preseason tournament rivalry games again ( We will 👁️ 👁️ )
