Hi! In this video I will retouch a few photos using the automatic retouching plugins Retouch4me. I will also show you how to make a quick color correction with ready-made LUTs in 3D LUT Creator!
Thanks to Zoran Radonjic for the photos. Let's take a closer look at this one. This is a studio shoot, makeup has already been done, but there are still small defects on the face. I will try to get rid of them. I'm going to start with Retouch4me Heal plugin. I will make a copy of the layer. To speed up the processing of the plug-in, I will select the retouching area before running the plugin. Now I’m going to filters, selecting Retouch4me and Heal plugin. Let's see what changes it will make to the photo. Here is an original image, here is an after version. Before/after. I got rid of small skin defects; let's move on to the large ones. I’m making another copy of the layer and starting Retouch4me Dodge&Burn plugin. It smoothes out the face. It is better to check High Resolution checkbox here since this photo is full-length. The photo has been processed, let's take a closer look. Here is before and here is after. The skin on the face and chest has been smoothed. The effect can be increased, for example, like this. Before/after. I click Apply and retouching is applied to my layer in Photoshop. I will make another copy and process it with Retouch4me Portrait Volumes. It is better to use High Resolution mode here. I'll bring the face closer and let’s see before and after. I will increase the effect a little. Now let's see where we started. This is the original photo. Here I removed small skin defects with Retouch4me Heal, then I smoothed out the skin with Retouch4me Dodge & Burn and at the end I increased depth using Retouch4me Portrait Volumes. Here's my final image.
I will not stop here, so let’s make a quick color grading using LUTs! I’m launching 3D LUT Creator and loading Image from Photoshop. I’m going to launch LUT manager. Here I have already opened LUTs from the LUT cloud. To make them appear, you need to click on Globe icon. You can see the LUTs previews here, so you can easily select a ready-made LUT you like and apply it to a photo. For example, this one! I'll send it to Photoshop as an adjustment layer. The layer's opacity can be adjusted to taste. This is the original shot, here is the retouched version, and here is my color graded version with the LUT.
Let's load another photo. I’m making a copy of the layer, selecting areas for retouching and launching Retouch4me Heal plugin. If you have a close portrait, High Resolution mode doesn’t need to be selected. For the sake of experiment, I will enable it here. But little has changed in the photo. On the next copy I will use Retouch4me Dodge & Burn plugin. Here is the result! Before / after, before / after. I will increase the effect. So, it only remains to apply Retouch4me Portrait Volumes. Done! Here is the original. Retouch4me Heal removed small skin defects, then Retouch4me Dodge&Burn smoothed out the skin and at the end Retouch4me Portrait Volumes had added volume. The result looks fantastic!
Let’s make some quick color grading! I will send my previous LUT from 3D LUT Creator to Photoshop. Here's what happened. I will load the photo from Photoshop into 3D LUT Creator. Let’s choose another LUT for this image. I will open LUT manager and select LUT there. This one looks good. I'll send it to Photoshop. I’ve got this kind of warm look just in one click! Everything looks great! Let me remind you that retouching is performed automatically, so you can run it on any number of photos, and do other things. There are several videos on this channel about batch processing! I suggest you to check them out anytime! That's all, I hope this video was useful to you!

I recently purchased Heal, Dodge & Burn, and Portrait Volumes. They work beautifully.
I recently shot headshots for a symphonic orchestra and was dreading the task of retouching so many images.
Putting these into an action and batch editing them has saved me weeks of work. Thank you!
I look forward to slowly accumulating the other plugins and trying out the 3DLuts.

@Anastasiya Yvarova I just used it on a big commercial shoot today. It's doesn't do 100% the job of course, but it saves lots of time. Every minute saved is another dollar made. I think perhaps people expect too much. But if NOT using this is okay for pro photogrpahy, Having it definitely is too haha

I don't know how AI can retouch photos very professionally with maintaining the originial skin texture. Specially Dodge and Burn it's saves lots of time for me. Dodge and Burn is the most time consuming part of retouching but this plugin just blow my mind.
Thank you so much Oleg :)

Hello agin, I was wondering, will it be possible to add "Input" & "output" luts to 3dlutcreator? As in to use as the same time, not just one or the other. I hope this feature can be added, as I often use Cine luts to flatten my image first. Then I use either a print or other conversion lut for final image.
Edit to be clear, ( Multiple External LUT, but can bemove both input & output) Thanks for your time Oleg :)
