When I was in high school, my friend and I told each other na kung sino man ang magdedicate ng song na to samin will be our meant to be. It was of course just a fun talk for me because definitely, I did not think it will happen. That's why, I was so surprised the moment na my first boyfriend sang this song to me. He doesn't even have any idea about it. And yes, we're still together.. 8 years, 9 months and counting. :)

First heard this song about 12 yrs ago. Not listened to it in years and suddenly it pops into my head tonight and I burst into tears.
I remember that pianist lady in college, whenever every time I past by this music room.. something in her perspective (and how she plays the piano) that will make you stop on your tracks and be spellbind-ed. like you have never heard of that sound before (never heard it that way) or something, and you wanted to know, it was that combination of curiosity, mystery, wonder, and something that cannot be explain. and I remember, how disappointed I was every time I leave, because you wanted to make that rich connection, but in the end you simply just couldn't.. it is somewhere beyond the limits of linguistics, language, and communication arts.

I remember this is one of your favorite songs; and no matter how I insist to you that this is a heartbreak song, you persistently say this is your love song -- our story. I'm not proud to say that I'm right, because at this very moment this song is being played to remember how much you love me and now how much pain I gained when you left. This was a lullaby back then when you want me to take a nap on your car so I won't be stressed about the traffic; but right now it's just a sad melody like the once they play when the lovers from the TV show you're watching had a huge fight and drift away for awhile. I do wish this is temporary and by the end of the song, we'll be back again -- me, trying to sleep in your car and you, whispering the lyrics while stroking hair to calm me down; how I wish for that. However I don't think the song will change in our story. We reached the credits, time to take a bow -- and just appreciate how good the journey was. Again, thank you.

Memorable song for me. Sa ex ko lang din nalaman tong kantang to way back 2011. Everytime na tatawag sya, minsan bigla na lang sya kakanta at eto yung kinakanta nya. Then we broke up in the last quarter of the same year, walang closure, basta bigla na lang ako lumayo dahil sa nalaman ko at di ko na pinakinggan yung explanation nya kung bakit nya nagawa yun. Hindi ko na din kinausap yung mga kapatid at kaibigan nya, as in wala na kong communication sa kanila after namin magbreak. At isa yun sa mga pinagsisisihan ko, na sana pinakinggan ko man lang sya. Pero yung memories, pati na din tong kantang to, never ko talaga nakalimutan. Sya lang yung naging boyfriend ko na kinantahan ako. Small things, simple joys. Then 8 years after, nung 2019 bigla nag-appear yung name and picture nya sa "People you may know" sa fb. So I messaged him, kinamusta ko lang, wala naman ako ibang intention kundi kamustahin lang sya. Nabigla ako nung sinabi nyang kilala ko daw ba sya, or magkakilala daw ba kami. Kasi naaksidente daw sya. I thought nagjojoke lang sya, pero totoo pala dahil tinignan ko ang profile nya, dami kong nabasang mga posts and comments ng kamag-anak at kaibigan nya about dun. That accident happened a month after daw nila maghiwalay ng asawa nya base sa nabasa kong comment ng kapatid nya. So nireplyan ko sya after ko mabasa yung mga nasa timeline nya. Nireplyan ko sya ng "Ah sorry, namali lang." Hindi ko alam kung ano na ang irereply ko, parang di ko maexplain kung ano yung nararamdaman ko that time kaya yun na lang ang nasabi ko. Sineen lang nya ko. Mukha namang masaya na sya, he's doing well. Nakaramdam ako ng sakit, pero siguro nga mas okay na din na hindi na nya ko kelangang maalala pa. Dahil bumabalik lang yung nakaraan na hindi ko na sya pinakinggan after namin magbreak, at yun ay pinagsisihan ko. Hindi ko na din sya minessage pa. Akala ko sa movies and series lang nangyayare to, pero ngayon ko napatunayan na nangyayare din pala yun sa totoong buhay. 😅 So everytime na maririnig ko tong kantang to, it brings back memories-- memories of him, memories of us...

5yrs ago. Narinig ko tong kanta to. Naging call sign namin ng girlfriend ko. Eto na din naging theme song namin. Sobrang saya namin sa simula. Then eventually madaming nangyari. Madaming pagsubok na sumuko kami. We've been apart for almost 3 years. And now nag cross ulit yung landas namin. We tried to back what we have. Lahat naging okay open kami on our both sides tanggap kami parehas. Masaya kami halos araw araw magkasama. Then dumating yung point na nagkaproblema sobrang daming problema. Trust issues. And now hindi ko alam kung dapat pa bang ituloy. Kapag naririnig ko tong kantang to bumabalik lahat ng happy memories namin lahat lahat.
