The Oadby Leicester branch of Waitrose closed its doors for the last time on 3rd November 2019. We talked to customers and staff about the store closing. A sad day for the staff and loyal customers.

I was told from a Manager at another branch of Waitrose, that Oadby did run at a small profit, but it would have taken 80 Years to generate profit to match what Lidl paid for the site.
