Corruption for businesses everywhere is an issue. Here in my state officers send notice for assessment to firms having ₹20L turnover. While a big chunk do not even register under tax laws.
Sad part is, He doesn't feel safe enough to call out the corrupt individuals.

@@gloriadesouza4625 there is a time when people starts to feel helplessness and frustrated. By calling out some individual names it will get corrected? Someone will replace them. Thats why system needs to change. Frm selling sandwiches under a coconut treee to developing such a prestigious club, means he has got fucking balls made of steel. Not that he is writing something under a name about courage.
Google KItTex issue happening at kerala, the owner is shifting 3500cr project due to the govt officials harassment, that what a system can do irrespective of govt/party.
But we are very courageous ppl who won't tell someone on their face but we will write it about from a safe,distant place 🎉🎉

As he said we have too many departments that they have to Grace then it's time Govt should look into and punish those who are in it...and put a full stop. If Goa need revenue they should support all the owners in their respective business so that they grow and our Revenues also grows so that our Goa Glows. Long Live Goa.
Govt should look into what? Their own self and punish itself. The very people in control of the law and order are the culprits and the politicians are the heads.
Exactly even we own restaurants and clubs in Mumbai and these cops just keep coming every day and ask directly ask for money even if we are doing complete legal business
They directly come up and ask give 10k 25k or we will put 1 lakh rupee case or so
I can totally feel what a famous club owner will have to face his daily routine would be paying these government officials and ministers 😞

Taking bribe is in Indians blood. Even my brother owns a pub and planning to shut it down because of harassment and abuse by police and officials. They forced shut down the business for months because of covid but expect to pay 7 lakh license fee. They haven't made even 10k rupees in 5 months but has to pay license fees.
This piece of $hit communist goberment is hell bent of destroying as many business as possible

The nasty part is the approving department is led by country's most brilliants who pass out IAS. These guys tell colorful words to clear IAS.
It's so difficult to digest that we can't come up with simple procedure or checklist to get anything. There is nothing from government which comes easily. You have to end up going through broker.

Same is my condition on the verge of broke, this system is consuming businesses in India which is just opposite to what happens in West.
From a movement to rid the system from corruption in Delhi to watching people suffer from that same old problem. It's a long way to go for things to improve. Or rather it's a dream.

Running a club in any part of the world at any point of time , is a difficult task . In a situation like COVID , state government must be supportive to all businesses . By allowing the corrupt practices of bureaucracy and politicians to leech the businesss , Goans are losing their future.

I agree with you single window clearance is important. I am owner of mininig industry. And need 3 years to complete documents just because we need to feed every one. In China all documentary comes to your table within 21 days . We need to change this process.

I had My land 700 sq.mts conversion sanad file pending before the official for 2 years. Only when I paid 4.75 lacs after hard on bargaining the sanad was issued. Former talathi, retired mamlatdar, a tout everyday present in the building is the front Man. They say Minister's are taking bribes and no one can do anything. The system is carved out very cleverly. We are the front Man, I get a few thousand. Ricardo is absolutely correct. He should have opened the lid completely. Every month certain amount of money needs to go to Delhi idiots, for that matter they struggle to restore their corrupt regime in most states. Very simple. I spend nearly 1.5 lacs on travelling, Xerox copies, attestation,only going forward and backward producing all required documents. Finally couldn't work. Wish Portuguese regime existed in Goa Rather than this mother f***ers governs the administration. Corrupt bast***s will never last to enjoy the evil money. Hope they rot early to death all this corrupt officials.

It's sad but the harsh realities of living in a third world democracy. The F&B industry is one of the most abused in terms of taxes levied and have one of the most difficult process to get a license to start. And not to mention the visits by so called upholders of the law and policies. What makes it worse is the petty minded vendetta that they are capable of.

The minute any corrupt politician or bearaucrat lays their eye in a growing business, they start torturing with blatant demands and unwanted threats. You cannot run a business in Indian peacefully without paying up officials or politicians. It's become more of an compulsion.
