Excellent video! I have the parts on order and now I’m confident, even my fat, old and broke down self, can complete the job properly. Thanks once again!
Very nice video, Brother! I'm adapting a chromed boat steering wheel to my '24 Icon, and I need to fabricate a bushing to adapt the golf cart steering shaft, to a 5/8" opening on the new steering wheel. ( I'm a machinist, so not to worry.) It's gunna look great, and I'll have a steering knob, too!
Do you see any issues with replacing the steering wheel with a larger one? I feel that a larger radius steering wheel would help turn the cart easier by requiring fewer revolutions to make a turn.

The hub is designed with marks on them so you can still clock it without putting the wheel on twice.
What size nut is that ? Is it different for different years ? I have an 86 and its missing ... found out when the wheel came off and hit my lip

That’s bad ass. I have a 23 icon and the spline adapters that come with these wheels don’t fit the icon… are you making a new splined adapter?
@Archifx Not splined, just a friction fit. I have a machine shop facility, and I'll just figure it out..., as most of us machinist types do.
Great job bud, thanks!
Nice Job.Very Thorough

Thank you 🙏
my club car doesnt have the micro splines, i had it straight, took off and that mug at a 45* to the right now 😖😖
mines is veeeeeery hard to come off and still can’t get it off 😔😔
All I can say is keep at it. Walk away from it for a while and come back to it. It will release
Mines not coming off either. 2018 ezgo RXV.
Yay my wheel not coming off with equal force
Is it possible to add a new steering wheel without that adapter that extends it closer to your body??
Ya , they never come off that easy. I’m pretty sure you used a puller first then put it back on for the video.
Promise I didn’t. Not what my channel is about
@@Archifx ..You got extremely lucky . I have replaced at least 15 steering wheels and always need a puller .
Same I have a golf cart tex to EZGO
I am giting one to thank you
Sure wish I could find a video where the installer actually wires up the horn button. Everything else is easy. :(
Put the horn button at your feet. That’s where it’s supposed to be on a cart. The button is inactive. Look it up. It’s like a knob style push button.
