How many in Modi's cabinet are empowered to take major decisions without interference from the PMO? Let alone states being empowered. The core audience of Mr Rahul are the educated youth of the country.Its high time that he gets his due since he has the political experience and the sensibility to know the needs of the common man..gives practical suggestions and overall has the personality to attract the young generation and the academic background..to top it all..
His hindi accent doesn't allow him to connect with the mass audiences in the background of 24*7 massive propaganda against him across media.
But we still have some educated illiterates, who still believe a person, whose education qualification is ambiguity, and Questioning that person, according to them, is high treason towards nation.
And dysfunction literates bhakts , are the biggest stumbling block to growth of this nation.

*CoVid-19 started erupting in China since end of November 2019. Since source of CoVid-19 was from foreign soil, had Government of India shown maturity by being proactive, then they would have*
1. Cancelled all visas to foreigners by 15-30th January 2020 (which they eventually did in March 2020).
2. Ordered compulsory 15 days quarantine for Indians returning from any foreign land by air, sea, road.
3. Back checked status of all passengers coming from foreign land after 30th December 2019.
This would have prevented this massive epidemic in India, whereby so much of pain, suffering and inconvenience to millions. This would have also saved billions of dollars of already fragile Indian economy.
*Instead of doing simple things, govt was busy with Trump event, arranging defection in Madhya Pradesh and maybe planning sound and light events of 22nd March and 5th April.*

Do you really know of the mechanism of spread of the virus. It was only when WHO indicated that we have a pandemic that all countries started to look for ways to slow down the spread of the virus. The Chinese just locked up 30 million people in their homes. No other country can do this because the people are immature or they are unruly and defy laws. Look at the people in India for example mosques or the bus stand or people walking on the highway even though their home is 500 km away. Just stupidity. Need I say more.

I agree. It is very difficult to carve out a core audience when almost all of the population has been whipped into a frenzy. The signature of Rahul Gandhi's speeches, press conferences, etc is that he speaks mostly about the economy, and in terms of policy. It just seems impossible for any message or suggestion based on analysis and policy issues to penetrate an audience that rejected rational thinking and is driven by frenzy.
Ours is a nation that prefers mindless comedy, nonsensical action and shameless skin show, as compared to meaningful cinema.
A person's character and mentality is reflected in his/her choices.
That same character drives a person's every action.
There, of course, are exceptions but the things stated above are usually the norm.

He might be making some good suggestions by him but his howlers hurt him more. They are highlighted more and they have successfully portrayed him as pappu. And for this the media is the main culprit.
The BJP does not like to inform the public about what they are doing. That ways if they do something and fail, they can simply say we never meant to do that. While RaGa will commit fully and when he fails, it is easy to show his shortcomings. The difference in approach makes a huge difference. It remains to be seen if states in which congress runs the govt can prove their mettle even in these dire times.
