oh man, i played this game about...i guess a year and a half ago? and i absolutely loved it as well. The 4 main love interests all have such interesting character quirks about them and once you finish their endings, you see exactly why each of them is the way they are. Noiz and Kojaku's good endings are definitely my favourite. Noiz bbecause he was by far my favourite character, and his history was so interesting, and Kojaku's because I personally feel like KojakuXAoba is the healthiest relationship out of them all.
I gotta say it... You could seriously pull off an Aoba cosplay. Your torso is literally like the same shape as his. (Btw, I am not saying that people have to look like the person they're cosplaying, I'm just saying that ItsSuperEffective could pull it off realistically. But anyone can cosplay Aoba, even if you're black or overweight or a girl. Anyone can cosplay anyone.)
I love love loved DMMD! I was 16 when I played it though so...I wasnt really allowed to. But I loved all of the endings honestly. I love all of the characters as well. My favorite might be between Noiz and Ren. But all of them are amazing and have their own dorky features. (Yes even Mink)

I like the way you care enough of the viewers to make a disclaimer at the beginning. It sounded like you were a bit concerned reiterating that there are more comic based content and this is a one time thing. Hopefully in the future you won't have to worry about things like that because homosexuality won't be a sensitive topic.
The character developement in this game if fantastic. I excepted just some sex scenes, didn't even know it had a story when i first played it, but if you are planning to play this game do not look up on the internet the stories or other thinks (e.g. clear's face) as the surprise effect in this game was very strong on me as i knew little to nothing of what i was going to play.

It's a visual novel for PC first and foremost, no English dub, but there are patches for sub. You click through the story (you can set it to auto play through dialogue and text to really go for a interactive novel experience... like a choose your own adventure, but nice art stills) and are faced with reactions and choices of things to do or say in given situations. Based on those choices you split the direction of the story, and the right sequence of choices leads to further connecting with one of the other guys and a different ending story. You want to collect them all, as usually in these games each ending reveals something different, and this game in particular has a playthrough that's only available after you've finished the other endings. Yes, there is sex in most of the endings, but there is a decent amount of story and the outcome of the overall conflict is handled differently depending on whose by your side during the final challenges.

awesome video. well i went into the anime not know much about the game and it was good but i would have been happier if they had not rush story line and i can see why people who like the game didn't like the anime because the anime leaves out all the yaoi. i would like to see another season but i would like to see more focus on the relationship of aoba and the other guys because what little they did do in the anime was one of my favorite parts of the anime. i also really like the music in the anime.
Careful. I got into buying other merchandise. Like the game, its not cheap, because little of it is available out of Japan, so you're paying import too. I have the art book for DMMD and Re: connect (in Japanese though), and I ordered some figures. I do have to say no to some things. Most of DMMD's merch seems quality made and rare, making them harder buys.
I played DRAMAtical Murder the original and Clears story surprised me since it got me at the end but regardless Im probably gonna play Koujaku's Next xD

So,i knew about DMMD a year ago when u talked about it in a anime video,and i dont tend to like Yaoi even though im gay,because its marketes towards the female audience and generally they're pretty mediocre,but OMG DMMD has a great story,awesome characters that are actually diferent and interesting,and you see how they get attached to Aoba and its just amazing, My favourite route is Clear,btw i played the game being 16,and people were like ur too young to play,my cousin is 12 and she played it
When I played the Virus and Trip route on reconnect, I legit had a nosebleed and I'm a woman!! My friend asked why my nose was bleeding, I told her it was from yaoi. She already knows about it and she also watches and plays yaoi
I really loved the story of this game, though I admit the "bad endings" did kinda freak me out a little... >w> YOU'd know what I'm talking about. (wont spoiler) I couldn't get over how pretty this setting was, and I seriously digged the music. I think the anime was "ok"- clearly it didn't have time to cover ALL the different facets of the story, but it made an honest attempt. Plus, like any anime based on a "harem" set up, meaning multiple love interests, the character ends up kinda ambigiously with one of them, but they don't consumate it, they purposefully leave it open ended for the viewer to decide. They made Aoba's backstory the backbone but it could have been intergrated a bit more. So... it's not Jaw dropping, but I'd say it's one of the better harem fantasy animes out there if you had to compare it to others.
Yeah, I feel like Aoba's story is only revealed through one of the ending routes, and you only get these hints that something is amiss, yet to be discovered in a few of the other endings. It's definitely one of the most developed world's in my opinion, in a game, let alone a visual novel of this type. I would have liked more romantic hints through the game, and not this heavy dose at the end with the right choice. Noiz is the only one who gives decent ROMANTIC notes early on, and even he seems to do it out of boredom almost wanting to see what will happen more than feelings for Aoba.
