:-) That’d be interesting, hearing your fiance talk about your jerseys, but also sharing her thoughts on you collecting jerseys. :-) My own experience has been great, ex girlfriends have found my collection anything from “interesting” (I’ll take that :-)) to “fascinating”, but I’ve heard of other collectors be called “immature big kids” by women for collecting jerseys. :-):-):-)
I like this Man U shirt, I think what gives it bonus points is the tone of red they have chosen, this… not really red, more like… I don’t even know the word in my own language. It makes it look… “warm” and “regal” at the same time, I reckon. And yeah, I’d love it more if the sleeves ended in the same color.
More of a Crimson Red which I do really like. Good shout there.
I disagree about the away!! I liked it anyways but my sister got it and it looks incredible in person,, but the 3rd is beter (which is why i have it)!!
I appreciate you sharing your experiences both with fakes and authentics. I’m in a similar boat where I only own authentics currently but I’m thinking of testing the knockoff market for clubs/kits that I can’t justify spending $100 on. Seeing your experience is very valuable for that and I appreciate your honesty and openness. Keep up the great content!
Thanks for the kind words. It is tough to justify the price tags on a lot of these shirts at legit prices. Deals on legit shirts do exist, but it's nice to know there are ways to get cheaper shirts, even if you may be sacrificing quality and authenticity. Anymore with knockoffs, you have to REALLY nitpick to find the differences. Again, I don't condone it and always say to buy legit when possible, but these options exist for those of us who are ok with a few cut corners to save a ton of money.
Looks great man. I've finally decided to buy a knockoff from dhgate and noticed that you also wear a medium. I'm 6'0'' 180 lbs and just about every shirt I own is a medium because I like a nice slim fit. I know a lot of people say to size up for the dhgate "fan version" shirts and even size up twice for the "player version" so I was wondering do you find the medium sizes of the shirts you've ordered to be similar to the mediums that you would buy anywhere else in the US?
I have heard this same thing and did end up going up to a Large for the first batch of DHgate shirts. I wish I wouldn't have as they fit just a little too baggy for my liking. Honestly, the medium size knockoffs I have bought off DHgate and BestZV1 fit just like a US Medium, and I have purchased both "fan" and "player" versions.
So, in my experience, knockoff Mediums fit me the same as legit Mediums.
As a manu fan I agree. Are you excited for their new kits this summer?
Honestly, no. The Snapdragon sponsor looks weird and everything I have seen for next season's kits looks just off. Maybe in person they will look alright but right now, meh.
