Any company can buy in/install equipment from 3rd party company’s. Schindler probably have the maintenance contract here and the lifts needed updating or centre wanted them updating and Schindler probably said we can do this and keep us on maintenance we’ll do it cheaper.
AKE escalators in the UK are rare and usually they're installed by Generic companies like Jackson and Pickerings, more often than not putting their own nameplate on it and not the AKE nameplate so it makes it look like it's their own product when it actually isn't. Typical generic lift companies trying to put their mark on everything.
