I am not a really good player but from my experience playing japan: You shouldn't have sent the yamato alone and close to shore it has a higher range of 350 at least send it in duos or with 2-3 sentukos + japan is great at capping population by simply sending sakuras from bombers or sentukos to blow up houses it's something you should try next time as no pop means no army. im still learning the game and i absolutely love it. But i do have a question. Why didnt you use the japan balloons to blow up the enemy balloon tower? would they die to quick to machine gunners? just wondering great vid btw.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! You mean the FuGo balloons? Yes I probably should have at least tried that. I remember early in Industrial Rev considering it but thinking I don't have the resources + maybe they get shot down so not worth it but I should have tried later when I had lots more resources and nothing to lose, you are right.
