The first time I heard Limmie I literally got to my feet and cranked up the volume. I've heard so many operatic singers over the years that it's easy to become jaded. It's a rare event to have someone new come along and grab your ears, and literally make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Wow! Who is this guy??? It's like the skies parted and Gabriel stood forth. I hope he has a long and storied career.
Definitely a great, great, great talent!!! His performance of Nessun Dorma in San Francisco was my first exposure to his magnificent voice and I shared it with as many people as I could! I would also love for him to perform "The Bells" of Rachmaninov Op 35 (Silver Sleigh Bells) first movement (Tenor is highlighted). A spectacularly talented gentleman!! I'm a fan!
