My intuition initially says somethings not fully plugged in. If you can verify all connections are then I'd say video card is bad or needs vid driver update. Does it display screen on external monitor?
According to their website for HP320 product spec (support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03026602) its 4x2=8GB DDR3, but that may be wrong. See comment below.

Hey! I have this same exact pc. Honestly I don't know anything about pc's but I was wondering how I would be able to make games run faster on it. There's an old game (Rollercoaster Tycoon 3) that I'm trying to play on it but the gameplay is pretty laggy. Should I buy more ram or buy a new video card? Which should I buy in particular? I'm currently using Windows 7.
Hello, thanks for commenting! So I would usually say install a decent graphics card.... but in this case I have some bad news. Here's a video I did for your issue, but below is the summary. th-cam.com/video/F4aeYCpLZfA/w-d-xo.html You can't install a graphics card because the TouchSmart 320's graphics are integrated into the processor. To upgrade the graphics you would have to upgrade your processor which could be pricey depending on what you buy. Plus that's exponentially more difficult to upgrade than RAM, hard drive, etc. I always recommend upgrading the RAM and, if in reason (32GB or less) max it out. If you do, it's a one time upgrade and you're done. For the TouchSmart 320 it'll cost you roughly $30 to max it out at 8GB (2x4GB), if that. So since you stated that you don't know much about PC's I would suggest making sure you have plenty of space available on your PC (www.dummies.com/computers/pcs/how-to-use-disk-cleanup-in-windows-7-and-vista/), install a SSD if you don't have one in there already, and upgrade to Windows 10. If that fails I think you'll have to buy a desktop PC, not all-in-one. Buy a cheap desktop PC, install graphics card, done. Of course if it's just for RCT3 then this option wouldn't be worth it but it would be worth it if you play more than a few different games.

Hi, so I have the same computer and I recently upgraded the ram from 2x2gb to 2x4gb but instead of saying that I have 8gb available now, it’s saying that I only have 2 and that only 1 slot is being used. Is there something I can do to fix it?
First I'd recommend taking RAM out and install the RAM from slot 1 into slot 2 and RAM from slot 2 into slot 1. Make sure they're pushed in all the way and correctly seated or else they may not be recognized. Also how are you checking RAM (Win 10 Task Manager or CMD)?
Yessir it should, www.amazon.com/Samsung-204-pin-PC3L-12800-1600MHz-M471B5173EB0-YK0/dp/B01CEHOUUM Although I do highly recommend buying through Amazon Smile, as for no extra cost you will be supporting a charity of your choosing.

Try also upgrading to an SSD if you have not done that.

Hi Fren. I have HP 320-1038d, i installed 4gb x2 ram on win7 x64 but on system properties it says only 3.49gb usable. Do u have any idea bout dis ? Maybe some settings in bios that i need to change ? It's using AMD A6-3600 apu.
So unfortunately 2 nights ago I was cleaning my gaming PC which kept freezing. When I reseated the processor and turned it on, it said out of 64GB I only had 32GB available and that the other 32GB was dedicated to hardware. My heart sank when I saw that. Note: I have an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and from initial research this seems to be an issue with primarily AMD CPU's Let me know if you fix it. If not, over next few nights I'll try: - More research - Remove heatsink and CPU, clean thermal paste off with rubbing alcohol. Then I'll reinstall heatsink and CPU without thermal paste to see if its fixed. - Inspect CPU pins as it fell about an inch but maybe there's a damaged pin? - Play with BIOS settings, but I don't think this is a solution since I haven't touched my BIOs in months.
Tengkiyu for the reply... my aio now detected all 4gb x2 +8gb ram. What i did was mix & match other spare ram module that i have. A combination of them made my aio detescted all 8gb ram. 1 samsung, 1 elpida.

As an update, I've been super busy with laptop refurbs so haven't played much with it. But I swapped RAM sticks like musical chairs and still same issue. I will try again later this week and reseat CPU/replace thermal paste again. If not, I may swap CPU as it's still under warranty. Just for anybody who the above comment doesn't work for. Thanks for asking, any brand of DDR3L RAM will work.
What is its value in 2021?
Value of the touchsmart PC as a whole? Or the RAM? Value of what? Please clarify and I'd be happy to help the best I can!
how much gb does it support?
8GB on x64 OS like Win 10.
