Maybe the Majora's Mask had something to do with it.
try using the glide suit so they don’t disappear and then you can skydive faster
Upgrade the glide suit 2 levels (all 3 pieces) and you negate all fall damage.
you don’t fall slower or faster with the glide suit, upgraded or not. you only get more speed in the air (and negate fall damage, as the other commenter said)

Holy crap, this might legitimately be your best TotK video yet
The transitions (which there are a TON of) are absolutely seamless, the music put in a few segments make them so much better, the editing overall is amazing, seeing what happened when you threw something off a cliff was always amazing, Sidon suddenly appearing when you talked to Yona was freaky, everything about this video is absolutely phenomenal!!!

@@ThornyFoxI tried putting an ascend transition into my video. It's surprisingly easy. The only thing is, is that you have to trust that you had the angle correctly, or else Link will just snap in a different direction. Also it's funny to me that the same day I had that thought was the same day you uploaded a video with that transition in it.

This is absolutely hilarious.
I finessed a bokoblin onto a horse-drawn cart-cage and was heartbroken when it despawned outside its native radius. I cannot believe the same system doesn't apply vertically, this changes everything.

i remember fighting a construct soldier dude on a sky island and knocking him off. figured that was it. started walking the other way and heard an enemy behind me. same solider, same amount of health, and doing the animation like he just saw me for the first time. i felt cheated out of my kill.
The Gibdo was the best skydiver, he jumped of by himself.

You should try sticking a dragon scale to an enemy sheild scales make things only despawn if they are REALLY REALLY far away maybe it would make the enemies stop despawning so fast

So it seems the barrier to the sky is not the same as the depths, you can’t take entities like monsters from the surface to the depths I think but you can take to the skies without them doing what they do best. Run into a corner and disappear
Yeah it’s weird, horses will despawn in the sky but other creatures won’t. But all creatures despawn in the Depths.
