    i have 5acer and10 caw in africa im new in farming how much space ineed for gazzing them please

      Rose SEME 1 cow per acre so you need 10 acres for your 10 cows

    Dry matter ? Pasture is wet matter ! If a cow eats feed/ grain the cow is telling your your pasture is in poor condition ! This lady is making grazing too difficult ! The pasture shes standing in is already over mature...beyond the vegetative stage. Vegetative stage for most grass is about 6 inches.This field needs to be cut for hay. She says nothing about manure overload. After a second grazing coverage 50% of the pasture is given up to manure. Imagine eating your dinner with a manure paddy beside your plate ????? Expect a cow to do the same ?
