@@surviver5738 I'm the same, I have 3 alarms, Alexa, iPad pro, and my phone all have alarms set with different sounds at different times, and I still oversleep through them all.. it's horrible
I can attest that I am a VERY deep sleeper, and this is the only thing that has ever worked for me really. I was in California when the Northridge quake was going off, a 7.7 earthquake, and I slept through half of it. Only woke up when my mom came into my room yelling for me to get up, and of course I said "Alright alright, just stop shaking the bed!" and quickly found out she wasn't. This alarm has worked for me for years, being the only thing capable of getting me to wake up. Before that I was lucky enough to work night shifts where I went to sleep as soon as I got home, and woke up naturally a few hours before my shift. I highly recommend this alarm clock for deep sleepers, but like the video says, probably not great for light sleepers. After many years of using it, you do adapt to it slightly, and I find myself hitting snooze over and over, sometimes sleeping through it for a little while. But the good news is it is strong enough to wake up my cousin on the far other side of the house, so he comes in and wakes me up. So if the alarm doesn't do it, your family or housemates going crazy will.
@@XxGreedyMagiiCxX Depends what device you use and if you have powered speakers. By default hardware it is estimated an Amazon Echo with Alexa maxes out at about 80 decibels. The Sonic Bomb goes up to 113 decibels, so is significantly more powerful.
My sister slept through that earthquake too! wtf! I wish I was a heavy sleeper... but i get the fear of not waking up... I need this because I am a light sleeper and I am afraid I won't hear it without earplugs
Wow! I'm really interested in that bed shaker because I really am one of those people that sleep through alarms, phone calls, everything. I have to have a person actually wake me up! I really love this! I love how you can change the tone- that's nice, too.
I like this! So many of us have switched to using our cell phone alarms to wake us up. This LOUD alarm would be so much louder and give us assurance that we would hear it!
I remember that one time my dad was jackhammering the wall behind my bed on the other side. Slept right through that shit no problem. I want to buy this, but I also don't want to waste my money. I mean, if a jackhammer ~2 feet from my head doesn't wake me, why would this?
I’m a light sleeper so i don’t really need this but i can see how it could wake up an heavy sleeper. I like all the different options of sounds and vibrating.
What a great idea! I bet the vibrating part would scare me awake so much I'd be too rattled to even need to snooze!..haha. I'm a light sleeper but there have been times I've needed something just like this. It does have "a lot of bells and whistles" that come with it that might take someone some time to learn how to set it up just right but I'm sure it's well worth it!
Something that's also worth noting is that the sonic bomb alarm clock is also very reliable - I've had one for nearly 9 years and it works as well today as the day I bought it. Definitely recommended for very heavy sleepers - the video doesn't really do justice to just how insanely loud this alarm is.
@@gingerisevil02 No problem. I guess it's possible that the build quality may have dropped recently but mine's still working 100% reliably. I moved house a couple of months ago and during the move dropped the clock on to a set of concrete stairs. The screen now has a small crack in it but it still works 100% - it got me out of bed this morning.
I have this beast for nearly 10 years now, and still working. Never failed to wake me up. I have a hearing disability and without my hearing aid I'm can only hear about 30%. With this alarm clock no more worries it will wake you up, and I only use the vibration, not the sound, because it's so loud, I would wake up the whole neighbourhood (kind of).
Oh yeah my love needs this, he's such a heavy sleeper this would definitely help him wake up in the morning especially with the vibration part. Thank you for this review ❤️
Nice. I got this for Christmas and have been wondering how to set it up. So far I like how it works. It’s a bit complicated so I put a small list on my wall to tell me how to do what. But other then that, it’s quite a steal.
Omg ive been searching for a super loud alarm for yrs! When I abso have to be up early at a specific time I have to run a Bluetooth speaker thru my tablet, a real pain, because I don't hear ANYTHING. I'm also deaf in 1 ear so the bed shaker as an extra measure is so wonderful. Ive stayed up all night so many times just to avoid not hearing my alarms, this would be amazing for someone like me!
Me and my husband we both are deep sleepers. We could definitely use this alarm clock. This clock has so many great features especially love the added Bed shaker.
@Sleepopolis I am both a deaf, light at first-deep-at-the-end sleeper. I mean.. I can't sleep easily and this light would bother me. Is there any way to turn it off? Should be mentioned as well. as a con. Thank you for the video.
I am light sleeper so this is over kill for me..BUT it is really cool and I do like the LOUD alarm and shaker..Scaring me to death would wake me up better than just a sound for me to kill and fall back asleep.
Nice review. I have had this alarm for years. This is the only alarm that will wake me up most of the time. I have mine at for 59 minutes of alarm time instead of the default 30 minutes. That being said, I have slept through it for the 59 minute setting with the bed shaker active. But I can slept through anything however it is the most reliable and the loudest I have found yet. If you are a deep sleeper like 'dead asleep', try it. If an ant walking across the floor wakes you up, this is a bit much.
This is a flippin cool clock and that bed shaker lol...too cool for school. I want one of these and had never heard of them before. This is amazing and i cant wait to do some extra research on it. Thanks for the video on a super cool product
I wouldn't ever use this clock, but it would make a great present for one of my sons! LOL might be even better to find a way to set it up without him knowing and see what happens!
I have a friend who is a deep, heavy sleeper. His mom is always going on about how she spends thirty to forty-five minutes nearly every day just _wake_ him up, then an extra fifteen to twenty to get him out of bed. Whenever I would stay the night over at their house, it would always confound her that I could just go into his room the next morning and not only wake him up, but get him out of bed within seconds of entering. She had no idea how I managed it. But my method was simple. All did was some variation of jumping onto and landing my body weight onto his stomach (be it through my elbow, the side of my chest, my ass, my back, etc) and then by pushing him off of the bed. I remember that sometimes he'd hug the blanket and start rolling on the floor so it'd wrap around him like a cocoon and just fall asleep again. Fuckin' bastard.
I got so used to my phone alarm one day that eventually i wasn't waking up for work. I bought the sonic bomb and sometimes woke up before it went off out of pure fear from the loud ass ringing that i can sense coming.
as a extremely deep sleeper, i can full sleep through the two alarms with the loudest sound and bed vibrator going. so extremely deep sleeps this is majorly helpful but not fool proof
